@Clean Racer

The Hyundai wasn't too bad though was it. 2:28.8 was my fastest time and that was while fighting side by side. If I drive it more I could get it down closer to 2:28.0 I'm sure easily which would be off Turbo's pace by about the same as I was in the Vette. I was really just going for a car that wasn't being used in lobby but I may have stumbled onto something here.

Yeah. It was cool to see you running it and I appreciate you trying to mix up the field. Very cool.

Beware of the tire wear on that car. I've not heard good things. Be sure to test a long stint. 👍

Well tire wear in the vette and mustang can also be tricky. What I really appreciated about the Hyundai is I could get on the power really early on corner exit and get a good run down the short straights. The long straights exposed the poor gearing though and the brakes were disappointing. But overall I feel like I could compete for top 5's with hyundai so its legit.

JGM made their way out to Laguna Seca Raceway this morning to break in the power plant on the fresh “Vintage Brewing Co” Chevrolet Corvette C7 GT4 (Chassis #2).

Driver, Johnny G, had these words to say after a brief test session before they head out for Interlagos. “Yea, car is good. I don’t know about the driver.... but the car is good.”

Here is a link to the livery if race director needs to verify all things required are there.

The wrap on this C7 is loosely based on Vintage Brewing’s sweet beer van. I thought about doing a “ Patina look“, but fiberglass don’t rust soooooo. Just went with the “half matte paint and semi gloss decals.
