Attendance confirmed.

Also, you have a driver listed twice on your attendance list @damonc84

Copy, confirmed and corrected, that puts us at 11 entries for tomorrow night, we might actually have an LCQ. Here is a link to the Live score sheet that I will be updated through out the night.
Also wanted to add for the Twitter savvy racers with us. Series has tag is #IRSYRX or #IRSRallyX, whichever is easier for you to type

Gee...imagine that, asking people to confirm prior to the race event. Well done!

Most leagues on here usually ask that, know VRR does it because you only have 9 slots for GT in a multiclass series and almost 20 signed up for the class. So they ask who plans to be present so a PreQ room can be set up.

First off guys, 13 entries, damn. Thank you to everyone for deciding to spend your Friday nights racing with us. Now down to business.

Next Friday's (February 22nd) race will be a Pre-Season Race to work out any issues with race format and just to give everyone a dry run with no championship implications to worry about. So look at it as a real time practice for all of us in something that has not been done before.

This race will be on the Horse Thief Mile II layout of Willow springs, and we will be doing a Joker Lap for this event. I have attached a track map below of what the Joker section of the track will be. That being said the "chicane" before the final sweeper will be part of a normal lap during all sessions , including qualifying. Expect laps to be around the High 57s,low 58s, with the joker section projected to be about 3-4 seconds faster.

I will also for this event have a live score sheet of the heats available on Google, this will also have the points updates once we get the season going. That will be available to view here.

Heats/Semi/LCQ - 6 Laps
Final - 8 Laps

The following will be the track conditions for the night.
Practice - Daytime 09:10 Cloudy
Qualifying/Heats/Semis/LCQ/Final - Evening 18:40 Clear

Reposting this so everyone can get a refresher of what the plan is gor tonight. Please read to above post, including our late sign-ups of @kpstormie @nicholas23

The only feedback I have is that qualifying is a waste of time, doesn’t mean much and it’d be easier to set the heats using the standings or last race results (with practice times setting anyone who isn’t able to be sorted by either of those), that way we can get started right at 9.

The shorter 4 lap heats were more fun last week as well, the 6 lap ones dragged on a bit (but that’s probably mostly because of Horse Thief).
