Is anyone still playing Dirt 3

I'm currently playing both Dirt 2 and 3. Honestly, I think 2 is the better game. I think it's both visually more appealing (so far Dirt 3 has a pretty muted color pallet and some grainy unattractive textures afaic) and more fun to drive. I like the fact that 3 has less of the ridiculous "X games" attitude than 2 but I think the rally courses in 3 mostly suck. The Utah stages in 2 are fantastic...

I like Dirt 3, and I will play it on rare occasions nowadays, though I remember a time when you couldn't stop me from playing that game on the weekends. I would still play online but it seems very dead at the moment on PS3, for obvious reasons.

I recently got a T150 (formerly played on a DFGT and G27), and I just tried it with Dirt 3, and I have to say that either my wheel settings are botched or there is very little wheel weight here. I get that you want to have a responsive wheel, but on the Logitech side of things, I recall there being some more kick and resistance to the FFB, even if it wasn't particularly strong. I'm running 100% wheel weight & strength, and 70% vibration, are these just bad settings, or are the Thrustmaster wheels just lighter on this game?

Just got it on my Xbone with the backwards compatible, started looking at the add-ons and downloadable stuff and remembered I got the VIP-pass the first time I got the game, any way I can get it on this system?.

good news is the code works so if you want you can hit me up, my psn is r____ROM30____r

whats there to do online tho?
Not much like zombie mode and a few races just like regular races but with people
And my PSN is sandyskids3

Well good thing I only use my Elgato. This was the only one footage I captured while attempting to best a PB.

I would have liked to post a video but YouTube didn't work for me

And @AOS- and @rom30s maybe we could race together sometime on a planned day

For those that don't already know, DIRT 3 will be free on PS+ starting next week.

ss3
Thanks that could mean more people online playing it
But they would have to buy the seasonal pass
That reminds me, do you need any online pass to play this online? I know this came out when loads of games (Codemasters included) had online passes and am wondering if its required for this. Unless the digital version doesn't require it.

Yes the disc does, but I don't know about the digital version, I might've be completely off but the pass I think is 6 U.S. dollars

I copped it up and played with a friend and a bunch of randoms who also copped up the deal. Never thought I'd have such an exhausting time hearing a bunch of kiddies complain the whole time how the game is garbage because of how unforgiving and difficult it is to handle the car, and that I was cheating because I kept leading each race by 20 seconds.

Can't help it if I played the game before.

I just played the first set of races and quite enjoyed it. Haven't played any racing games for a long time so it was a nice change to get back into it plus it was free so can't complain!

Swept it up during the Humble Bundle deal. Fun little racer. I'll be online with it in the next couple of days, since I am visiting an area with better internet.

Picked it up for free on PSN last night. Definitely a change of pace from GT. I'm not a huge fan of Drifting though, I had to do the challenge to unlock Stage 2, 5 times. I completed it by sheer luck, I flung the car around and hit every thing that gave me points.

I love it I've been playing less and less each week though if anyone wants to play with me just tell me the time and I can convert it. Also tell me your PSN name
