The C6, NSX, Aztek, and some cars I won't mention to be nice, are designers high?

Think before you speak! GTPlanet is only as good as you make it.

Please tell me this message is just for me.

Did the Ad Council approve it?

I got it too (still do, actually). I think it's for everyone in light of the recent flame wars, which I missed, tragically. I always enjoy watching a good flame war.

OT: Anyone remember the first spam? And the chaos that caused? :D

I think you got the gist of my definition of "flub". I consider the current 745i a flub: nice engineering, great build quality, but dubious design. A design that causes too much consternation; gives people pause. That's a flub -- the one thing that keeps a car from being great. Of course, it could be more that one thing: poor design and poor iDrive. ;)

Just teasing on the iDrive part.... :D

Ahh yes, my quote:

"You can make a good car at a good price and sell it to people. You can make any car at a good price and sell it to Americans." :D

Lol, I love your little news reel. :haha:
Too cool M5 and definitely up to date. :D

You have no idea how truly tragically true that is. Even worse, you can apply it to any product. People think "low price" means "bargain".
:bomb:
"But it was on sale...."

I am beginning to think fans of the NSX have never seen pictures of the car in more than one angle.

I rest my case. Back is not too hot either.

Ooh, so charming. I probably have. But I just give opinions. I dislike other cars too. I am not the type to idolize a brand. I dislike some Lambos and Ferraris too. I think the styling of the Murcielago is too Japanese, and am so so on the Modena. I think the F355 and 456 look better.

You don't dig the Think City Whatyamccallit?

Looks like the Mitsu 3000 gt.
NSX has lost that styling cue that made it the NSX. Too bad, they have become generalized editions of other cars put together and the only one I would get (if it came to the U.S.) would be the type R NSX.
Everything must change and not always for the better, especially for the eyes.

drive one of them, and the styling will be far behind, trust me...

if i had 90k, and i could fit in the driver seat (i fit in the passenger seat, there are no pedals... :P) i'd get one, no matter how it looks...

80% of all the car desgns all over the globe are going downwards; while the remaining 15% are improving and 5% are ups-and-downs. Heres why:

The 80%:[U/]
-GM is going haywire, if you notice the awkard designs of their cars show, like the 2003 Silverado, and the upcoming 2003 Colorado, they're taking this 'Avalanche' stuff is way too much. And Pontiac messed up with its Aztec, Bonneville, and Grand Am and but good thing that the Vibe and Grand Prix was good to our eyes. Well back to Chevy on its cars, what have they done to the venerable Impala? They've ruined it!
-Toyota is running out of design here. Take a look on the Echo[US]/Platz[JDM] sedan, Tundra, Sequoia and the MR2 Spyder. But the camry is well-balanced.
-Honda is becoming tasteless, bland, unemotional approach, no wonder they're a flop in Europe. The Fit/Jazz, Pilot SUV, and the Integra/RSX are some of the exceptions
-Nissan before the 'Z-man' Ghosn, ruined their venerable Maxima's[US] tail end.

The 15%:
-Hyundai is improving with it Tiburon/Coupe/Tuscani Sport coupe as the beginning of a new image. And Kia is following on it.
-DaimlerChrysler is taking shapes and sizes with its MBZ's and their Dodge's. Mitsubishi? I don't think so.
-Ford is making dramaitc changes on it 'edge styling' from its 'yucky curvy' formula, big improvements belong to thier Expedition SUV and their Mondeo.
-Volkswagen is heading in the right direction, let them not abuse it.
-Mazda, so far so good.

The remaining 5%
-BMW so far is designing neat-and-clean cars, but after seeing the CS1 and the new 7-series, its going to go downwards. Luckily the new 5-series is pleasing to the eyes.
-Renault is heading to the 'bold and daring' department I hope it will go through.
-Subaru, needless to say thier wide-eyed Impreza series is kinda distracting. But the Forester is kinda on the conservative side and I like it.

Thats it..............for now.

Peace!!!!
