Is it possible to get the same steering response as in GT5?

The problem with F1 games is that, like football games, we have the feeling we're always doing the same thing.

Don't misread me. I'm not saying its a bad game.

PS: football (soccer for some) was a bad example. It just plain sucks (the english among you, please excuse me :D)

I'm English, and yes Soccer sucks...the overpaid players even more-so. :irked:

Rugby Football, yes, a man's game. 👍

I follow motor-sport, and there's plenty of that in England. :)

My thoughts exactly.👍

I'll get back to Shift 2 now. To the OP, it has a major side effect of losing some weight on endurance races. You almost feel it going with the sweat you drop

OMG, a portuguese said that...I'm shocked:ill:
Sorry for the off-topic...but I'm shocked...and scared :scared:
(But the over-priced football players is right though :grumpy:)

I'd rather race on the same tracks several times over when I have complete control over the car than have a variety of car and track combination where I feel more like a passenger than a driver. Being a good race driver is after all about doing the same thing over and over and doing it perfectly.

Shift 2 was a very promising game but to spend a lot of time just to make the car driveable is too much. I agree spending time to tune your car but it should be about improving what is already a good drive, not to remedy a glaring flaw in handling.

What you feel is a glaring flaw is actually quite fun to me. This whole constantly riding on the edge thing, the adrenaline rush... And imho its more realistic than GT5s magic glue tires. Of course, realistic in this case doesnt have to equal fun. For me the perfectly composed sunday drives of GT5 where you never break a sweat are just not doing it anymore. Its like Rommie said:

I lost 12 Kilos since Shift 2 released. That might also have to do with riding my bike or playing tennis 3 times a week but since I need to change my shirt after each time I play Shift I consider it a part of the slimming down process as well! :D

Point taken :) But the handling is more due to bad setups than any other thing
