Yesterday I took the team NFS AWD Scion for a spin around the Hockenheimring in the time attack challenge. I was pushing the car hard and somewhere in the second lap I glided out of a corner, hit the grass sideways and flipped over the car.
The result:
Yes, you see it driving in this picture, because although the wings, back, nose and right front wheel had been ripped off, the game thought this car to be in good shape to finish the race.
So I took the now 3WD AWD Scion for another two laps around Hockenheim. Steering was terrible, the car wasn't capable of any mentionable speeds and laptimes were terrible, but ultimately I won because of my first lap
Nevertheless I was wondering what one has to do to get a DNF... I have damage set to full (and there definately was mechanical damage after this crash). Is the whole DNF thing a myth?
