Hi,

Well, Japan got the Christmas cars (which is awesome considering they are everything but Christian in their vast majority, LOL)

Some European countries got the special GT-R yesterday (which is also pretty awesome considering they did nothing to get it, just load and event)

And North America? I know, these dudes think that North America is only the USA, Canada is always ignored, let alone Mexico.

Honestly, Canadian and Mexican accounts follow the USA format, we had the Academy event "open" though we could not register to play.

Now, give the Americans a free car PD! You gotta be "fair"! (That way I get it for free too , like the shark and its remora, :D )

I do not know about Canada, but here I can easily set an American address and since Mexico just does not exist in PD's little world, I can even leave blank the address, believe it or not, and it treats Mexican accounts as American accounts by default.

Could get the car, I guess.

Does PSN require accurate Canadian Addresses?

If so, then you might not get the car then.

But PD, give something to North America!! Please?

Just my luck, I don't care about exclusive content on any game but GT5 and its sequels... Damn, such bad luck...
 
I think us Americans should get a GT Academy ZR1.

Or give us an exclusive "stealth cars" pack (for free) that unlocks all the stealth cars (787B, SLS, GT500 Skyline, and others) OR gives us 5-6 exclusive stealth cars like a stealth ZR1, Audi R8 5.2, Ford GT, Ferrari 599, and Lmaborghini LP670 for example.

Sadly, I think Kaz hates us :/.

Also, you know us here in the states, all of surface roads ONLY TURN LEFT. Makes getting the grocery really, really hard.

That was for gamestop preorders. I think North America should get a special ford GT, zr1, or whatever would make sense for this part of the world, for doing some universal event. I think they should host this where everybody can get a car. What's with this region exclusive stuff. Don't worry about crashing, because if Americans can build a car that can out-handle a nissan gtr in the turns i'm pretty sure they can turn.

I'm Canadian if you were wondering.

They won't put out a stealth car pack. Stealths were for pre-ordering. if you want stealths you should have preordered, like my self. Nissan GT-R GT500 Stealth FTW!!
 
This isn't the first time that North America has been screwed. We couldn't get the signature edition of the game, either.

Other games have been known to release preorder content as DLC, it's not impossible.
 
+1 on the stealth ZR1, or even Z06.

It really erks me about them always leaving the US out of their generosity. I didn't even have anything to do with Hiroshima.

Thing is, with PD's legendary non-communication, not to mention all the money they could still make by handing out small runs of preorder cars, you wouldn't know about a worldwide release of previously exclusive cars until they actually did it.
 
It is possible for any player to get the GameStop Car via a birthday ticket. So right now, unless the McLaren F1 Stealth is US only, Europe and Japan got all of the cars while the US got 0.
 
None of this should surprise anyone.

I mean, any auto focused media in the rest f the world puts down american cars whenever possible. The show top gear that has so many fans is terrible about it, my favorite was the one where the guy hammered his own 67 390GT mustang for not having 390 rear wheel HP.

Anyway, if you really examine the media, and also content right in this game, you can see the condescension. It's very subtle, but you can find it. I was watching a bspec race today, had bob running an american muscle race. cars ranged from vipers to old chargers and cameros. So bob is in the lead, and I like to move the camera onto other drivers to listen and observe the other cars. So i get to a 440 charger. Sounds awsome. then I notice, it goes 45mph in first gear, and tops out at 110mph.

Really? thats supposed to be the stock gears? I owned a 70 mustang, 351 four speed. it did maybe 20 in 1rst, and topped out well over 130mph. Nothing modded, just a normal rear gears and a top loader 4 speed. So what does that mean? it means the cars are dogs off the line in this game, and can't use their muscle for higher speeds. It means some 110hp Japan car will outrun a muscle car in stock form. And lol understeer on the new mustangs too.

So, this turned into a big rant, but thats how I see it. And I am not some crazy blinders on american car fanboi, I respect and appreciate any car that shows its merits. I like a lot of Japanese autos, and Euro cars too. Thats probably why the inequality of the drivability of the cars in game shows to me.

meh, end rant. I hope we get something cool, but I am not holding my breath.

FAIR!! You gotta be kidding me, close your damn gob and spare a thought for the rest of the world that has not even seen and probably will never see a GT Academy. You guys got a once in a lifetime opportunity and you're complaining about one car...Grow up:tdown:
