Is it time for North America yet?

"Sony Computer Entertainment America and Polyphony Digital Inc., in collaboration with Nissan North America, introduce GT Academy, a ground-breaking competition which will give one person the opportunity of a lifetime to become a professional race car driver. "

Don't think Nissan would want a different make of car offered as a bonus car for GT Academy events! :boggled:

FAIR!! You gotta be kidding me, close your damn gob and spare a thought for the rest of the world that has not even seen and probably will never see a GT Academy. You guys got a once in a lifetime opportunity and you're complaining about one car...Grow up:tdown:

I'm Mexican! Totally missed the point... Epic...

Australians doesn't get any (non-preorder) exclusive cars either, you don't see us crying. Americans need to just deal with it, like all other nations do whom isn't as fortunate.

I have argued for that fact that Australians, North Americans, South Americans, and greater Asia need to have the same dlc content that the EU and Japan has received. (In the form of GT academy cars, Christmas cars, and Signature Edition codes.) I say this, and will continue to stand on my American soapbox until all GT players are treated equally with free cars.

EDIT: I have seen Australians complain, as well as Americans, and representatives from all areas left in the dark without freebies.

+1 for region-free DLC. Never understood it. Always someone feeling left out, and that's not the lingering feeling you want to leave with any customer base for no good reason. All I see it as is artificial lengthening of the life of the product, delaying DLC to certain regions.

I'm Aussie btw

Really, what is the point of globalization, online worldwide interaction, and stuff if people around the globe get different cars in the game? Why? They can give everybody the same cars, and just make different requirements to get them, but let EVERYBODY have the cars around the world.

I'm off to playing Tourist Trophy, the best ever, while this gets fixed in the next patch, I'm optimistic...

I stand corrected. EU, NTSC (pretty much any region) who gets the Gamestop #20 from a 2010 Gift Ticket will automatically lose it when the game needs to be reloaded since it shouldn't have been in the ticket anyways.

Some European countries got the special GT-R yesterday (which is also pretty awesome considering they did nothing to get it, just load and event)

How dare you!!! :)

You actually need to complete a clean lap to get that car, something not that easy for some of us

I hope they offer 10 more Skylines.
sarcasm off.

Not possible. There's probably only 8 that aren't in the game. Now, if we could just get a few more Mazdas....now you're talking. After all, why would we want something that wasn't already in GT4?
