Hi all,

I recently came across GT2 at a pawn store in town at $7.99, and I'm just wondering if I should buy it. Both disks are there and seem to be in good shape.

Thanks in advance!

In my opinion yes and if it is at $7.99 it is a steal. If you go to craiglist they are asking like $25 and if you go to Amazon.com they are asking up to $50 and the lowest is 17 for a new one. So STOP READING AND BUY IT RIGHT NOW. GO GO GO

Yes, GT2 is always worth buying. However, there are so many copies floating around out there that with a little digging you should be able to find one for a buck or two pretty easy, unless you live in the middle of nowhere without a half decent sized town nearby.

I actually never played before recently. I hardly played PS1 (N64 was at the time and still is 1000 times better).

I got it off amazon for like $2-4. It's cool. Surprisingly it has some cool features I wish even GT5 had. Mainly the ability to race modify any road car, and concept. Plus it has some car models that GT5 doesn't have and I have no idea why the cars were dropped from GT after GT2.

The physics aren't very good admitedly but it's fun, and even if you only played GT3-GT5 like me, it has a lot of nostalgia to it.

I'd say it's worth it even at $7. I doubt you'll be dissapointed. I'm sure you're not expecting much seeing as it's a PS1 game so you should be happy with it

You could pay almost $7.99 in shipping.

Once something's under $10, just buy it if you want it. Unless you're collecting for future speculation or something. (or you have the real opportunity to buy elsewhere for less)

It's definitely worth the $7.99 pricetag. Gran Turismo 2 brought me and others countless hours of fun and is considered the best in the series by many, including myself.

Great car selection. Fun physics. Lovely GT Mode. Tuning and customization was and still is superb for it's age. To keep things short, you won't regret it.
