If it wa a white guy..
you'd start in a trailer park..
and most of the cars in the game
would be trans ams
Which is what GTA III and Vice City were, were they? No. They took a new marketing direction, one which was popular and could create a good storyline. Besides, one of the places you own is a Trailer at a Trailer Park, so that has no relevance or substance.
Drifster
it's called it's a dumb game and the market was getting sick of being hairy italians..
That's fairly offensive, Drifster, reword your phrases please.

If the character wasnt black you wouldnt be able to control gangs in the way we could
So basically black people are better or worse drivers than white people? Hardly. Ethnicity does not determine driving ability.

and drive about in hydrlic lowriders etc.
I'm white, am I not capable of driving a Lowrider? Of course not, it's a vehicle. Plus, if you look around where the Blade and Remington drive outside of Los Santos, white people do drive them, too.
Young_Warrior
we dont rteally know nothing about white mans crimes.
So you're saying that you've never seen white people commit crimes. Well, hell, come to Australia. The majority of
major crimes over here which are aired on Television are committed by white people. The Port Arthur massacre a few years back by a white man, Martin Bryant. The backpacker murders committed by a white man called Ivan Malat. And I very highly doubt the USA never airs crimes committed by white people.
Besides, you seem to be making a generalisation about all white coloured people, like Tommy Vercetti and the GTA III guy. Tommy Vercetti is Italian-American. You've never heard of the Mafia? John Gotti even? The Mafia are the most famous Organised Crime syndicate in the world, and according to your generalisations, are full of white people.

Being a black guy in the hood working his way up to become a king pin in his hood was alot more realistic.
None of the GTA storylines are realistic. Have you ever heard any story even remotely similar to this? It's a storyline made because it's playable, fun, and marketable ... not because the story is realistic. Aspects of the game are realistic, not the storyline.
