We don't know; we're not involved in the development of or support for Gran Turismo in any way.

Generally, the lack of availability of official esports is down to either Sony not having an official regional office or representation in the territory or because local competition laws make it too difficult to stage the events.

I think in this case, as Sony's representation in Mauritius is through a third-party (IOI Network), it's probably at least the first of the two - if not both.
