I don't want to have to grind for a whopping 3.3 million credits, spend it all in literally one go, only for next day to come in and I manage to get the Vulcan again, this time from the Daily Workout Challenge. :boggled:

On a side note, I'm planning to get it and the DP-100.

Twitchy back end, not great at putting the power down. I didn't see extensive notes, but it was enough for me to reconsider that as my big purchase goal.
Maybe because the people who tested it didn't know it was on Sports tires? I mean, I'm looking at it right now in the preview screen at the Brand Central, and its tires have treads, which would suggest Sports tires. Odd, I know, since everyone knows the Vulcan uses racing slicks IRL.

Maybe? I'm just not risking 3.3 million credits right now to find out lol.

I found the brakes quite poor when i used it in one of the missions. Might be due to the tires it was on like you say but still i was having to brake surprisingly early.

It could also be like the Delta Wing, there were complaints about driving that for a while, but after you read and watched stuff about the real car and how that was to drive, it was actually the most fun, challenging and rewarding car to drive

If you find the brakes poor on a fast road car it's probably because you're going faster then you think you are and therefore need to brake earlier to stop in time.

The Vulcan isn't a road car it's not road legal it's built entirely for the track.

Sort of hijacking this topic a little bit with my own somewhat related question

From the master car list, are there cars which are only obtainable from purchase, and cars which are only obtainable via rewards?

But it's not a race car either.

Who said it was a race car?

Already got the GTR pace car last week, I guess that's good that it's unobtainable by purchase, because of it's franchise prestige

And as for the GR3 cars, that's very interesting, im gonna start keeping an eye on those.

When I was searching for some liveries in Discover, I also noticed that under Mercedes-Benz it said there was an AMG Safety Car. Haven't come across that one yet anywhere in the game. Might also be a 'special' car.

Yes, I had the digital deluxe which came with the safety car pack. The BMW M4 Safety Car in that is in the mileage exchange already. So im sure the SLS AMG will follow at some point.👍

I went out and bought the Vulcan for some testing. It's a extremely difficult car to drive. It's fast but understeers alot ive fixed some of the understeer but you will find yourself having to brake in areas that even slower and heavy cars will be able to go faster through especially on the nürburgring. I'm currently seeing how fast a lap it can set. Setting a sub 7 will be extremely hard I feel.

I set a 6:46 (time is shown on dash of car) on the nürburgring with it could go a fair bit faster buts still abit of a handle full with racing tires. It's a extremely unforgiving car it requires maximum concentration. My lap wasn't even very clean had one very close spin which I somehow recovered and at the end I had a little off because I was like atlast I completed the lap. I'll post the lap video in the video thread.

Even with race tires, the car still behaves like that? Interesting. Seems a bit daunting but I wouldn't want it to be a snore fest either. How's the downforce? I'm guessing it's at the same level at Gr.4 cars, though I would be surprised if it's at Gr.3 levels.

The downforce it's hard to tell if it's any good as you can't tune it at all. My lap in it is in the video thread

I won it as a prize car, and I'm actually glad that's the way I got it. It's a decently challenging car to handle but it sounds great.

You can look how the car behaves at that video below. The sound is great!

Setup:

the hell, it only has 0 F/200 R downforce in game :odd: it's supposed to have way more than that.
