I'm just being an @#$ Darin. I assume you own a Delorian?
Why would I own such peice of ****. Its a brick on the road with no performance value.

Plus, I'm 16. I don't have any thoughts about getting a DMC...

Yeah, at 16 I was lucky to get my mom's hand-me-down Peugeot, complete with leaking sun roof.

The only unique thing about the Delorean to me was the unique Body work which used no paint, Other than that it was a non competitive car that was developed using drug money and statistically was a peice of crap.

I don't think it was devloped using drug money, don't you think the Drug Lords would want something better than a Delorean as a return for using there well earned cash.<tongue in cheek> Didn't the CIA setup John Delorean by pretending to be Drug Lords in order to convict him of accepting drug money to finance his adventures in design.

There's currently a DMC-12 for sale on Route 33. I'm going to give it a look 👍

Hey, it's unique and almost everybody recognizes it, thanks in to small part to JD's drug bust and BTTF...

That drug bust was the ultimate marketing strategy. Your car sucks, so why not make it really hot by having the owner get involved with drugs so then everyone would know what the heck a DeLorean is!

Yeah that and the fact it appeared in a well known Teen movie about a guy going back in time!!! Saw a DeLorean at the weekend, unfortunatly the wife was driving so I was in the passenger seat and it was a quick flash as it drove down the road the other way.

So enuff about the DeLorean, I think it would be cool to have an Avanti! Saw a convertible Avanti today. They're sexy-ugly, and I think they had 350 V8 engines. Everyone forgets this American carmaker! :(

No..............................................its not in the game (And im not bein sarcastic)
And the point of resurrecting this was? It was answered nearly 2 years ago in the 2nd post.

Doesn't mean some of us wouldn't like to see it. :) I'd love to have a Delorean in GT4. It'd still be possible to get a license.. While John Delorean doesn't run it, the Delorean Motor Car (DMC) company is still in business, doing repairs/refurbishments/upgrades to the existing cars.

Regardless of whether it's a monster on the track or how much it weighs or how it handles, it's still one of my favorite cars. :)

This was on the first page, nobody else has brought it up yet

I always consider the DeLorean as, 'what if the Bricklin was made in the 80's?'

Let's compare:

Rear Engine Rear Drive
Gullwing Doors
Cheese-wedge shape
Lackluster performance
Had movie roles
(The Bricklin was in Deadline Auto Theft, a movie created by H.B. Halicki, writer/producer/director/editor/actor of the original Gone in 60 Seconds, although it was much less successfull than Gone)

The Bricklin SV-1 had it's engine in the front. I always thought it looked a lot like a Stingray.
That's all :sly:

Dude, I'd love to see Studebaker/Avanti in GT4, that would be totally raw, braw.
It sure would be cooooool to see the Studebaker/Avante in GT4. 👍 I had a nabor that had an Avante in real life and it was neat looking. :)

Note to topic originator:
If it ain't on pupik's list, it ain't in the game.
(in other words, check the available resources before asking stupid questions!)
