Anyone else not getting gt6 for Christmas or before..... I'll still be on gt5 online.
I want to get it but I'll wait to see if price drops a bit

Price was also an issue for me, but I traded in all my other games and sold some spare car parts I had lying in my garage to make up the difference. If GT5 hadn't become so boring for me I would still be playing it, but I think GT6 will be worth every penny. It's more than a spruced up GT5. The extra cars, tracks, new menus and other content is keeping me on the edge of my seat, can't wait.

I've got it pre-ordered. Problem is it'll be in the US, while I'm in Venezuela. Shipping and stuff means I get it a tad bit late.

Since you still play GT5, you probably will put hundreds of hours into GT6, i would say just buy it day one and enjoy yourself, the price won't go down anytime soon since this is the last huge PS3 exclusive.

I'm in Caracas and from there as well. I got my PS3 fairly recently, in march of this year.

I'd actually bet on the price lowering pretty quickly; it seems to be happening ever-faster for PS3 games, at least around here. Still, you're talking months after release - can you really stay patient for that long?

I don't have a PS3 (I have a PS2 and 360), but I was originally considering picking up a PS4 for Gran Turismo, until I heard it GT6 was going to be a PS3 title. So, I'm mainly playing PC racing sims now and trying to hold out for GT6.4 or GT7 on PS4.

GT6 is tempting though, since I skipped GT5. GT6 sounds like it'll be what GT5 should've been. If the reviews are good, I may not be able to resist a PS3 GT6 bundle. I'm just worried that they'll announce a PS4 version of GT right after I buy a brand new old console for it.

No chance of that whatsoever esp with the GT7 talk already. PS3's are at great prices now, sheesh I paid a geebo ($1000) for my PS3 when they came out. Go ahead make the leap you will be glad you did.

I may do so, depending on the feedback I read here after the game is released. In the meantime, I'm playing Assetto Corsa, other pc sims and Forza 4 (also fired up GT4 the other day).

Why wait? Just tell your parents to pay you to do the dishes and save up and buy it on launch day.

Edit: On topic, i wasn't intending on doing so. Getting it for Christmas now, i'm paying for half of it.
