Hi, recently I have just bought a Mazda Demio for my first car. I had to reset the whole game cause my old data was corrupted. :nervous: :nervous: So what do you people think about this car? Is it good? :dunce:

I recently re-started the game as well and was wondering the same thing
Well except for the Demio car
I tried looking at the 200 point races but most of those cars must be won later or bought...BTW im trying not to use any of the "one time prize cars" Any ideas??? :dopey:

No, it's a POS! :)

Doesn't accelerate fast, doesn't turn well, doesn't brake good (even though it's going so slowly) - even fully upgraded it's still a FF POS!

Yes it is a POS. If you want a real good car to start with buy the MR-2 from the 96'-05 used car lot. I found this car when I started another game without saving. The car I originally started the game with was a black 93' civic hatchback.

i Did so that i drove the B-License and then with the Polo that i got at it raced few times the sunday cup untill i had enough money to buy skyline from the used car lot 80´s i think
:ouch:  :dunce: :ouch:  :dopey: :) :nervous: :indiff: :yuck:  :ill: 👍 💡 :sly: :guilty: 👎 :) :indiff:  👍 👎 :sly: :scared: :ouch: :nervous: :embarrassed: ;)   :irked:  :boggled: 🤬  :banghead: :mischievous: :odd:   :P :D :( :(  :dunce: :grumpy: :guilty: 💡 :ill: :yuck: :dopey:

Um, no. Its pretty hopeless. A better bet would be the Honda Civic Type R Sir-II EG '92 if you can find it for around 5K in the used car lot. Alternatively theres the Civic type R EK '97 for around 9K but that doesn't leave much for upgrades, or theres the Toyota MR2 1600 G-Limited for around 7K if you can find it or the Mazda MX-5 Miata '89 which can be driven in the Spider & Roadster Cup in the beginners races for around 6K. Personally I prefer the MR2 because of it's better handling.

I'd turn down the TCS and ASM to at least 5 otherwise it's really working against you and don't forget the oil change.

It's FF and its slow. Give it a miss, unless you fancy a fight for the Sunday Cup.

Well, some people don't like challenges so they buy Evos, Skylines, S2000s and they end up completing the game after one month.

If you like a real challenge like me, then your Demio is the perfect car.

The demio is a terrible choice ur gonna have to battle the life out of that little car......AND THATS ONLY IN THE SUNDAY CUP.

get somthin a little bit faster so u can still have the challenge.

I would try to silver the B License so you can get the Kusabi. It's a pretty good car to start out with and you don't have to spend precious credits on a car. You can go mod it a bit, thrash the Sunday cup, keep an Autobianchi, then rerun it and keep selling Autobianchis. That is a good first moneymaker. ;)

as my first starting car i used a mitsubishi sunfire concept or sumthin like that. i gradually saved up to bye the basic speed tuning parts. e.g. turbo. engine balencing. NOS. then i started on the suspension and then on the drivetrain. another good car that you can start off with is a nissan skyline. not the most modern one. the older version. i have not got my game right in front of me at the moment so i am not sure of the exact year the skyline came out. you can usually find an old skyline for under 10 000credits. be sure not to buy the skyline with the wierd wing mirrors that has only about 76bhp. the super old one. but the correct skyline comes standered with 276bhp which is more than enough to get you through the beggining stages.

With a bit of upgrading and skill, I'm sure this car could win the Easy Capri Rally - 250k for each time. The Kusabi also makes a useful car for Beginner FF, and pulls around 100-150 A-spec points if that's your thing.

dont listen to them. ok, its not a great car... but you still do stuff with it. tune it up a bit and you'll be blitzing em in no time. it does have limited use tho. go for a suspension upgrade to train the handling and a race flywheel to help her spin easier. its current set up is for criusing around city streets and doing the shopping in so you are going to have to make a street racer out of it :)

It's a good challenge car, yup... but I would've spent the coin on a turbo Vitz.

Good luck!

wow...looks like the Demio really suks. But anyways, i finally bought my second car: bmw 330i. 👍 this time i'm sure this is a much better car cause it costs 2x more then the Demio 👍 Thanks for the tips anyways

Getting that Mazda was a bad idea, like said before, it is a POS! I say sell any cars you have and buy a used Nissan Skyline or WRX STi.

Actually, the BMW isnt bad, but a Skyline and STi are better.
