Dunno. I left gamescom with a huge stack of free 48 hours XBL Gold codes. I can probably play on all weekends of the remaining year for free.

And even then, the 35$ or whatever for XBL isn't too much to ask, in my opinion. That's half a game less per year, only to get twice the enjoyment out of the stuff you already have.

But to each their own.

Yes you can do that as long as you are happy to have different games saved under different accounts, what I wouldn't do is try to gift the car to a silver membership as it wont work and you lose the car (well I done it as I didnt know my friend was on Silver as his Gold had expired - took weeks for the car to re-appear in my garage).

No, after I became my Fanatec GT2, I´ve created an new gamersaccount and started FM3 from scratch... I have not activated my 1 month free xbox live gold membership on that account... I never play FM online so I dont care about xbox live or so... But that was a bad bad trick from T10/MS... Really, that is really unfair to the gamers... There was no hint that we need an xbox gold account to get the preorder DLC cars! At least no clear hint when you preorder!

And I dont know whats up with you guys... I played GT5P, GT5, Call of Duty and other games hours and hours online and never had any problems!

Yeah, I pay 1000 € for a TV, 200-300 € for a console and 300 € for games per year, but the 30-40 € a year subscription is way to much for me. I can not understand those guys.

If someone does not want to use it, then it is okay, case closed. But whining that certain features are not working, because I dont want to pay, is just sad. The Xbox 360 is only half the fun without XBL, you lose too many features.

Well, you dont have to spend whole lot of cash, for example you buy a brand new xbox 360 slim 250gb for 200 euros, or buy a used one from a dealer, still getting the warranty. 35 euros for 12 month gold isnt that much, you could always hook your xbox up to your computer screen, no need to spend 1000 euros on new tv. If you have a bad screen, buy a new 24 inch full hd lcd for like 150 euros. You see, alot cheaper. I play my console games on my computer screen as well.

You don't have to buy multiple copies of the game to get alll the cars, you just have to wait a while. 6-8 Months after Forza 3 came out alll of the previously exclusive cars went up for sale on the marketplace. A lot of people had a big hissy fit about it too

or just look on the forum or ebay, someone is bound to give away their code for something else/ money.
