Issue with Seasonal Events

Has anyone been having this problem? Every time I try a Seasonal Event, if I have to restart the event it just 🤬 crashes my PS3. I have to turn off my PS3 and it make three quick beeps sounds and it turns off. GT6 is the only games that right now crashes my PS3 (FIFA stopped crashing, GTA V, CoD never done it...). Any reason for this? I really need help... it's frustating knowing you can't even commit mistakes and knowing it will probably crash the PS3 when I try to restart the event.

Happens to me sometimes , happened on tge license tests , Sennas events too .

I wonder if it's a console model issue. I've never seen this problem.

I thought I had figured out a way around this issue, which was stoping the car completely before restarting. It was working but right now my PS3 froze for the 4th time in the last 30 minutes...

Are you playing in 1080 or 720 resolution?

Switch your PS3 video output to 720p and see if that makes any difference.

Happening to me too. I've never ever had any issue like this before. It was fine an hour or so before the update. And its random fails, doesn't happen every time.

I'm having issues. Never had them before. I lost the credits and prize car on the first SRT seasonal due to a screen freeze after a counted lap. It would never advance. Reloaded game and it showed prize car awarded, but it was not in my garage. I've had to restart several times due to network drops too.

Just happened again now. I took the SRT to Like the wind, won the race, then after crossing the finish line the car just kept cruising on and on, the finishing order never showed up, and the start button would not bring up the menu to exit or re-start or the other options.

What I don't get, is if its a 1080p vs a 720p thing, why did I not have any trouble for a year and a half.

Same problem. Even now I have DNS errors for logging into my PSN account.

You should count yourself lucky, For me, this problem with continual freezes started after installing update 1.12 and switching the video output down to 720p has been the only solution I've found so far that has significantly reduced the occurrence of these freezes.

I was lucky then, until yesterday! I just switched to 720p. It froze when I paused the game, tried again and got to lap 2 at Nurburgring in the GT All-Stars, and got a magic disappearing track.

Has anyone gotten anywhere with this? Did changing resolution fix it? Mine seems to be crashing whenever I choose a car for a race. The loading circle just keeps turning and if I try to shut it down, it goes through a lengthy restart. If I back out of a race before choosing a car, go to my garage, choose a car and then go back to the race it runs just fine. Lately I only play on Wednesdays and it just started doing this a few weeks ago. Wold appreciate any added input as it's pretty frustrating trying to search the topic and this is the closest to what I am experiencing.

Changing the resolution did not fix the problem. My problem seems to be different, in that I get partway through a race or sometimes finish it when the bad stuff starts to happen. Have you thought about replacing your disc?

I appreciate the input but the darn thing just worked like normal yesterday. Didn't do anything different and the weather is still hot as hell here so I don't know what did it. I did have the crashing during the race issue a couple years ago and for me it had to do with my own music play list.
