Countersteering Assistance Still enabled Bug.

Hi guys

I'm having a serious bug that is serious hampering my driving. I've noticed lately I'm unable to make tight corner turns with copious amount of understeer.

The game is randomly enabling CSA and Stability assists despite having them all turned off.

Only when I restart the game it seems to fix the issue temporarily for this bug to reappear 10 minutes later.

I've tried everything. It's driving me insane.

This bug is probably plaguing a ton of people without anyone realising.

You can test this by switching to cockpit view and taking a tight hairpin corner. Without any assists you are able to take the corner without any understeer and the drivers hand animations will remain stable.

Enable CSA and you will notice the drivers hand animations will start jerking and fight against the wheel like its glitching causing massive understeer.

This is exactly what's happening to me. I have all assists turned off but the game thinks I still have them enabled.

Anyone else experiencing this? Should I try reinstall the game? I'm out of ideas!

You could have provided a video of it happening so everyone could see what exactly happens.
You could provide information about your hardware you are using (PS4/PS5, controller, wheel, whatever), because it may require a specific setup.
You could call a corner and a car that will make it happen (at the highest odds).

Because in the end it could be faulty hardware, glitched animation, or exactly what you describe.

Issue seems to be resolved with the latest update. Seems like it was a bug.
