It is worth getting GT4 now?

If you are going the GS route, try and get v3 or v4, stay away from version v5 (it will be listed as v1.x,) as it has less options and usable codes, and does not support bitwise codes. But most of the codes can be converted with a program called Omniconvert, that program will convert the code with the verifier code.

My best advice though, is play the game without the GS, beat it right. Then start playing with codes, if that's your fancy.

There is no excuse considering the ultra low prices nowadays. I still play GT2 from time to time (sweet Grindelwald!) so I imagine GT4 will be more than just playable to you.
Plus it has some serious challenges like many Missions and many licenses that are hard to gold (I've yet to gold S License and earn the Model T), and of course the huge amount of races and the challenge of completion itself!

LOL@ thread revivals.

I've played it a total of 3 hours. Shiity graphics and the fact that I dont have a wheel at school has made this game less than entertaining.

I havent played GT5 in a while either......no time really. Perhaps this summer I'll pick it up.

I am basically bored with GT5 right now, and I plan on breaking my copy of GT4 and starting a new game from scratch. I dusted if off for the first time since Thanksgiving to do that Top Gear challenge and I found myself hooked again after I readjusted myself to the different driving dynamics. I like the layout (The clear difference between buying a new and used car primarily) and all the tracks that I had forgotten about after playing GT5.

GT4 has the best tracks. Like Citta di Aria and Infineon, and the one everyone misses most which is Midfield.

So yes, it IS worth it.

I also recommend Enthusia.
