Sorry to Marchbrown and mr_VOLCANO for cutting you up coming out of the chicane!

Edit: Does that corner have a name?

Which corner? Casio? Or are you lot using the "new" earlier chicance, lol.

I think its all referred to as Casio, because the "Casio Triangle" refers to that patch of track rather than a particular corner.

The new one! As you come out the harpin, there is a chicane on the right hand side of the track which is pretty fun!

Would people like to see this added into the race?

Oh, thats where it is? You mean part way through the 200R? What do you do? Slow down for it and go through it? Do you get penalties for it?

Yeah number 12 on the picture 200R. Nope no penalties for it. Its nice aswell cause its pretty fast. You can take alot of speed in and I would think in a RWD car you could get some good oversteer coming out!!

What do people think?

I would love to ad the new trackpart. Used it since i learnd the track from fair_play_please

👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

if it haves no name, then i would vote for fair-play corner/chicane or f-p-p corner/chicane, because i think i was the first with this idea(long time ago):):):)

The Fair-Play-Corner has been added into this event. It is the corner that is part was through 200R, on the right as you come out the harpin.

If you are behind and want to catch up, then you can skip the chicane. You can only do this if you are far behind and there isnt a car entering / exiting the corner.

Or 200R chicane? Nah, you can have your glory :P

Hey. Coming in at 19. What do you think of people skipping FPP corner in order to catch up? :sly: Would this be acceptable?

Yeah good idea but only if there isnt a car entering at the time of you passing 👍

No problem jack. Sorry guys I was fast in the game, so forgot to turn down the pp . No wonder i was faster in corners than yesterday. Fixed now.

Three things:

1. Sorry about the punt in the spoon to everyone there at the first round of last race. Got some italian Ford GT power in my sweet behind.
2. Can someone tell our fellow GTP freind from NL to keep his line.
3. Dosent seam(seem? id like some english lessons) like mr geez is awear of our new turn. Wonder what he thinks about his fellow racers? lol. I've punted him out in our new twist once earlier...xxxx.

Got taken out by that fool in the evo...sorry Fair play, I was waiting for everyone to go past, didn't mean to get in the way.

I guess you are referring to me, to be honest, I had so much trouble even driving a decent line tonight. Just got home from vacation last night, so had some non gran turismo days.

Just wondering, how do you guys keep paying attention to everyone around you, if I do that, I end up in the grass cause looking around me and racing at the same time aint one of my strongest points.

also, how much can you defend your line, if someone is behind you for example?

enough for today, hope to see you guys in the weekend

Dont worry mate just keep practicing youll get there in no time 👍

There is no certain amount to defending your line. Some drivers go very defensive and dont give you much space in the corners at all, and some dont.. just how you drive your lines. I think as long as the driver hasnt made his move to overtake / late brake / pulled along side / has a clear run on you, you can travel where you want on the track. And also as your not moving all over the place then youll be fine 👍

Ok man. No worries!:) We all have some bad moments from time to time.
In close raceing and side by side raceing I always try to keep my inside or outside line exspecting there is someone there in the other line. You cant always claim the raceline - or if you do its quite agressive raceing. I also use my weel buttons on my G25 for left side and right side look. It's only my point of view - I'm not to aggresive (I hope) and are racing for the pure fun of it. Dont matter if im nr 1 or nr 10.

See you next time.

don't you all think it's better to race normal layout of suzuka??
minus confusion to some drivers, isn't it more fun when there are 10 GTP racers to drive as long as it's possible (there is more action in T1 or the esses than in this new chicane, don't you think??) than to finish in T2 (if we are lucky enough that front runners are VERY slow) on lap 5 because of tackling extra piece of the circuit?? just my 0.02..

Sorry guys, only just read the post about the new corner. I think it's a daft idea to use it, but i will if everyone else is. Mr geez beat me to it.
