Well in PC yes! Cause the engine is directly link to the car performances, perhaps not 100%. In other games it just visual effects.

Not all games. In PCARS and probably other sims the engine is linked to performance, I've seen plenty of times on rFactor the AI cooking the engine and sending the car into a wall while on fire. PCARS isn't the first. Difference is they let you see the engine in detail on PCARS compared to there games focusing on it's performance.

Unfortunately you need an i7 with a top high end graphics card to be able to play at these setting in the game! But still it shows just what PC is capable off! Why would you want to go to any other arcade game!
