I think he is talking about the right hander with the white curbing, you can drive over it pretty far to get better exit speed onto the straight.
On another note, I just watched your lap at Toscana, haha setting up for that one turn you had all four in the dirt, turned in, and drifted the turn perfectly. Do you think that was faster or was that just bad luck and going wide?
I don't remember that lap at all. I know I made a big mistake at the end but kept my foot in it and it worked out ok.
Some of the corners I think are going to faster if you cut them.
It's funny because I never considered NOT cutting the last turn at indy. It's like when you search something on google and the first result is an ad but your eyes just goes over it like it doesn't exist. Same thing there lol. Just not an option to not cut it. You guys are crazy.

I don't really think its cutting because you are kind of staying on the curb, I know thats what they are talking about. I noticed it right away and drove over the curb, anything that doesn't get a red lap.
Then on Toscana you can drift out on the turns like on Cape ring and put all four in the dirt without losing speed so I am sure we are going to have some tricky turns where we are off roading.
I honestly wish they would have just put the rule into effect where if four tires go off you get a red lap, but since they didn't we are going to be off track once again, oh well.

Although I have to say that all that practice has got it so I'm much faster out of the gates this time.I can even stay ahead of Fix for half of toscana....and then....well I havent figured out the second half yet

Just finished my first session, PS3 and wheel were very hot, decided to call it a day and watch some NBA games.
Managed to get first in my region on the Indy trial Probably will only last a few mintes, but i´ll take it.
I thought i was going to hate the Indy combo, but i loved. It just clicked.
I love SuperGT, but that Toscana track is awful. Just like the rally stages, it´s dumb, superwide and full of blind corners with elevation changes. It´s like they are trying hard to make it difficult, but in the end it´s just a terrible track.
I left this one for later. Lots of time to be had in both combos, but since this is only a one week thing, i think the top times will be 49´5 and 42´8.
Let´s see where i stand tomorrow when i wake up.

Man, I'm glad I sucked historically at transitioning to the wheel and couldn't compete in the first round. Because, I'd have been ticked to have to mess with that night time tarmac rally stage thing or whatever. I thought Cape Ring was the worst track on the game till I raced on that junk.

They actually have it in the day time for the Academy. In my opinion it's a fun track to drive, but lots of blind corners and such..definitely a lot of time to find though.
The only problem is the invisible walls which outline the track..if you just step off the tarmac a little bit in certain areas you nail the wall.

That invisi-wall is the best thing in the GTAcademy so far. I wish the exit of every corner had one actually.

It drove me bonkers the first few times but the line I'm using now is smooth enough that it's not an issue right now. I'll have to check if I'm losing speed because of it, though.
Oh, and nice job being at the top in the West already. I'll have to cede to the faster driver for now. 👍

In the last 15 minutes, I've dropped to 14th in the West. Oops!Totally didn't expect to be where I am, but I'm losing time as we speak so it's not going to last long.
Tried to beat my best time on Toscana and was having major issues. Turns out I had exited before that so when I came back in I forgot to turn the traction control off.
Wish the game would actually remember that you don't want traction control on by default.
