Terribly SOrry for You mate .But Thankfuly You Guys didn't get More severly Injured or worse.
I would Contact your Service Provider to see If there is any chance that they locate your Phone Via GPS or something.

Things like this are better Forgotten but If the Area is Dangerous I too would suggest carrying a Weapon (don't know if an Electric shock or what ever they are called are legal)but alot of My friends carry them for Protection.

Hope it all Goes well 👍

If they show up again, you could just:

Sorry to hear about this and your friends injuries, but have you ever considered self-defense classes, I took a couple when I was 11 and at the end of the course I managed to disarm my instructor, who had a plastic knife, when he was trying to attack me. I highly recommend these classes.

I wouldn't carry any weapons without proper training first. They could snatch it from you before you can use it on them!

I do martial arts, and that is quite easy to do.

My suggestion is for you to learn some blocking and some "joint locks" should they grab onto you.

Good advice to learn a martial art. But even martial arts teachers will tell you to run away if you can, rather than confrontation. A 14 year old trying to use martial arts on a 20 year old male is not going to work.

I honestly think the idea of trying to use weapons or of trying to fight back in his case (even with martial arts training) is very unwise. These kind of people who would mug you on the street are rough, they are used to fighting.

If the OP were older then for sure, stand up for yourself, but at his age the only result will be him getting hurt more. By all means train a martial art to increase your awareness, fitness, strength, skill etc... But beware of the fact that even if you were some black belt martial artist, you still woulda got your ass kicked.

A thumb through the eyeball will take anybody down. The attacker is in the wrong, maximum force retaliation by any means necessary is justified when somebody is physically threatening/attacking you, and taking something which is yours.

I once got robbed while cycling when I was 12. I didn't have any money that time and guess what he took away from me? My a week old Nokia 6101 and my cheap wallet. Perhaps he was too desperate that he even wanted my old, stinky wallet

I think I've seen them before, but just couldn't figure out where. It happened really fast. So until today, when I'm out I always make sure that I'll not talk to people even if they're asking for a route because in Malaysia, those are the trick.

Of course the attacker is in the wrong, and of course it is justified in self defense, but it's just going to get you hurt more, fighting back doesn't mean you're gonna come out on top, and a 14 year old fighting back vs a 20 year old almost certaintly means no matter what happens the 20 year old is going to come out on top, so why put yourself in further danger?

Best bet is ALWAYS to try to run to safety, not mess around with pocket knifes or martial arts, you're just going to get hurt more. A "thumb through the eyeball" - you make it sound like its that simple, when it's never that simple, especially not when it is a child vs a grown adult, or group of grown adults for that matter.

If he were older then I might have a different view, but in this situation I don't.

If all else fails you can always bite them, that **** hurts a ton. Of course, confrontation really isn't the best thing. Like some of them said, best to just avoid it.

Tell the police to track down your phone via GPS, and it'll reveal where the idiots so they can get arrested.

Seriously your best bet is getting something for self defense. Personally I prefer a clip on pocket knife because I can use it for everyday stuff if I need to cut something and also because they're easy to handle. But be sure to check the local concealed carry laws in your area you don't want to get busted for carrying around an illegal weapon

Thanks for all the comments guys. I have to got to the police thuesday at seven in the night to testify the stolen phone and the money. I have to go with my father. I hope I can get the money back but it will be hard because we have no insurrance on that phone but threw a other phone so we have to sort that out.

The thing is, if they just randomly came up to you like that, they're probably just randomly attacking someone, some low-life people. I'm really sorry to hear this, it has come close to happening to my friends who were 14 or 15 at the time, but never actually did.
