Amongst all the nice photo sets on the previous page, for me, the best by a long way are the yellow Viper (I didn't realise the wing is colour-coded) and the last F10 pic 👍

They seem to be the best by the public opinion. Thanks for the comment. :)

I like what you did with the updated Skyline pic better than the first. The color is great. I also like the subtle fish-eye effect. Great composition.

Thanks for the feedback. I felt that the first version was a bit too "blue-toned". Again, thanks for the comment. :)

The second shot is lovely!!:drool:

 impressive!! fantastic work 👍

Thank you so much for the feedback. I'm seeing that the 2nd shot is the winner here. I just haven't done very much to it. It's some softglow, selective gaussian blur and just removing the watermark. And just a small dose of toning.
Again, thanks guys. :)

are insane. The first one looks really cool with the clean sky, and the vibrant yellow.

The Skyline is awesome, I love long-glass shots and this is almost perfect, I love the incredibly intense tones, if you had blurred the out-of-focus part at the end of the tunel it would have been very, very real. I know its already blurred, but real life off-focus elements don't ever look like they are composed of lines.

Wow, thanks for the feedback. Nice to hear that you appreciate my "work".
Again, thanks.

you should've used the Skyline tunnel shot (the one from behind) for this weeks comp. This is a winner shot!!!!!!

Great pics lately Fishy!👍

You may be right, I have yet to win a comp. But I got some votes this week, I may be paving my way for a win? :sly:
Anyway, thanks for the comment. ;)

I agree with bmx on the tunnel shot... definitely would have given Dolp and c_f a run for the money :sly:.
I thought you had a comp win under your belt already :dunce: but it can only be a matter of time from what I can see.

BTW the F1 shots are

Thanks for the nice comment. I'll try to come up with something creative for this week's 2.0. It won't be too hard since I have 25 minutes of photoshoots, but thanks again for the visit. :)

Okay, excuse the double post.
But it's time to bump this one again.

Update time.

Subaru Impreza Spec C '05 RM at Kyoto - Gion.

All the shots of the Impreza link to bigger sizes if clicked, I'll try to keep doing this is there aren't too many shots.

More of the GT500 GT-R is coming later, hopefully.

And we'll end with yet another abstract Panning Mode 1 shot.

Enjoy, and feel free to comment. :)

That first Subaru pic looks really good. I love the blur, it's alot of it, bit it doesnt go outta hand.

Cant wait to see more of that GT 500 GT-R. And that last pic of the R34... SOOO NUTTY!

Good stuff man, keep em comin!

Ohh, and btw, how do you edit thread titles? I cant seem to figure it out.

Thanks for the comment. And you click 'edit' on the first post, and then click 'go advanced', and then there appears an 'edit thread title' or something like that.

Love the 3 Sub' pics, just great

Thanks for the comment. :)

Hey Fishy - I love the first Suburu pic. Great use of aperture and wonderful color tone. If I may ask - what settings did you use to get the falling leaves into focus sufficiently to create the bokeh effect? I am thinking the same effect could be used to get grass/debris when skirting a rumble strip on a track, for example, without sacrificing details and clarity of the car in motion. There is still the problem with the the shutter speed, however, which would have to be 1/60 or 1/125 at the most to get the sense of speed. This usually causes the debris to fade away into oblivion. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Great pics Fishy.

Thanks for the comment, hugely appreciated. :)
But about your question, I do not remember. But I checked the EXIF data and that says like this:

Exposure - 1/4000 sec.
Aperture - f/1.4.
Focal Length - 189.9 mm.

Hope that helps. :)

:dunce: Why didn't I think of that? I could have checked the EXIF if my brain wasn't broken. 189.9 mm eh? You couldn't use a round number for that? :dopey:
