http://www.truthandaction.org/opera...drill-across-7-states-unconventional-warfare/

Many people have spoken out about, even the governor of texas put a watch on it.
Also 6 walmarts have been closed for plumbing issues but they never got any plumbing contracts

What do you think?

The US is pretty much on red alert status with federal assets deployed over the 4th of July weekend. There is an unspecified terrorist threat.

Let's get through this weekend, then we'll address the concerns of the secessionists.

You should understand there is an extremely deep-seated and potentially violent tension between certain states and their citizens, and the federal government.

Indeed, sadly this whole Jade Helm paranoia is an example of just how deluded some citizens can be.

Why dont we all move to canada i mean look there just a nice people who just like living life not starting stuff, Isis doesnt care about them, they dont start there own wars. They dont want to take your guns away.

I'm not sure why the US military would attack and invade any state, especially ones that contain several strategic locations for training and storage for it.

The military needs to train to make sure they know what they are doing when they start throwing around expensive hardware and to make sure that those who are in the military know what they are doing. The US is seemingly always in a state of conflict with some country or group, and if we want to maintain that we need to make sure out military is the best that it can be. Also, looking at the states involved, there's a wide variety of different terrains that would be difficult to find in other countries that we have military bases in, so I'm not really surprised why the states in question were chosen.

Also, from what I understand it's to train against unconventional warfare, which is basically what the US military has been doing since declaring war on terrorism. We aren't fighting a country, but rather a group of people who doing use conventional methods to fight back.

I think people need to remove the tinfoil hat and understand that it's just a training exercise...something the military does pretty frequently. Also, if they really were going in invade states, why would the make their plans deliberately known?

I'm not sure you understand the gun laws in Canada, they are more strict than the US's and from what I understand concealed carry is extremely difficult to obtain a permit for. Also, judging by your previous posts, I feel that Canada's socialist structure would really jive with your opinions.

Personally, I would enjoy living in Canada as I feel it's more along the lines of how my ideology is, but that's for another thread.

Self-invasion isn't a thing anyway. You've got to be pretty stupid to invade a part of your own country.

Well why would they close 6 walmarts give the employees 5 hours notice and close them the entire time this training exercise is going on.
I thought this was happening because the employees of those stores wanted better pay and Walmart was punishing them by closing the stores for "repairs".

So confusing.

I don't know the reason exactly, but one of the Wal-marts that closed down out of nowhere near me has had an increase of military presence within the last few months. From what I've heard is that it's more of a training facility rather then a self-invasion, tin-foil hat type of thing.

I have a friend that's too much into these conspiracy type of things and this was the same bs that he was saying. He's one of those that posts a lot of those "bad cops" crap.

My favourite thing is when American conservatives threaten to move to Canada. Our Conservative Party and PM are a long way further left than the Democrats, and our left wing party which may very well win the next election is genuinely socialist. Not Obama "socialist", but French government style involved-in-everything socialist.

Well they have to practice somewhere don't they? One of the few things our federal gov is actually designed for, so no problem there.

As for our liberties? What liberties

Walmart is a source of food and sporting gear including guns and ammunition. Just the things people don't need to hoard when under the hopefully mistaken impression their federal government is on the verge of holding unprecedented and mysterious military drills in their states.

Presumably, in a national disaster or emergency, Walmart infrastructure would make instant if not ideal federal "relief distribution" sites.

Presumably they'd also want to take over distribution centers as well...

Choose one side, and go!
