I was able to get a code with no problem off Facebook.
Unfortunately, it did not work. I entered it correctly multiple times in the redeem codes section on the PS network.
A word of caution: Be careful trading hard earned cars for codes that may or may not work.

Are you using an EU/PAL version of the game?? If not, then I'm not surprised the codes didn't work...

Guys over at the states and others who want to gift the car to each other etc...bad news,
Chrome cars cannot be gifted
I tried to gift one from my 2nd account to a friend and you get a message saying it cannot be done. I tried all the chrome cars same message. Sorry people.

I can't say for certain that it won't work for people outside the EU (or atleast not using an EU/PAL console and game), but it certainly looks to be that wayDOH!!!!
My bad. I didn't realize it would not work here in the USA.
Hopefully there will be more such codes... seems a tad cruel to treat one region to a nice freebie like this and not everyone else!

I can confirm it does not work for people outside the EU. A US/NTSC console with a EU account will be able to enter the codes and download the items, but the car does not load into Gran Turismo. I don't know about the racing suit.
Anyone got a yellowbird? i have 2 codes i cant use

I have PSN UK and GT5 region 1. The Jaguar has been downloaded (100kb), but the car did not show up in my garage.
