James needs new Headphones (probably!)

So I started a thread a few years ago asking for advice on good headphones for Christmas and I ended up with a pair of Sennheiser HD 220 and they were really good and I cant really fault them.. until the wire on the left split and it now can only play on the right speaker, I'm not sure if its fixable so I'm looking for a replacement, I don't mind having another pair of the Sennheiser but I want to see what else is out there, I just want a pair mostly listening to music on my Ipod, must be comfortable, good noise cancelling but doesn't have to be brilliant, price range £15-£30 (30 absolute maximum), must be overhead and not in ear, cant be arsed with in ear ones..

Any advice welcome and thanks in advance

I bought a pair of Sony MDRZX310 headphones on Wednesday and they are really good, thanks to @Robin. for the recommendation, sorry for the late reply..
