I donated via the store as well, It's not to hard to find some cash however small or large your donation may be..

In the UK on Friday there was £73M donated to comic relief in one evening..
Sure there was some entertainment on offer.. but we get that every day with our playstations.. imagine what we could do if we all just contributed what we could afford.. although I stay in a region where there is little in the way of seismic activity, I stay less than 40 miles from a Nuclear station!

This sure makes you think.

If I had to leave everything tomorrow, no power, no atm's, cellphones, fuel, destruction and uncertainty everywhere, nothing in the stores.. sheltering in a local centre.. then come out and rebuild my life and what's left of my family.. then a little assistance from those humanitarians, however far away might get me through the worst of this..

what are you waiting for?

Having lived 5 years just 200 miles north of Sendai, I know how scary quakes are.

I donated, but would also buy some cars. Have a psn gift card from Xmas that I haven't had a reason to use.

Oh wow another Dev doing something for the Japan relief.

Companies, organizations and individuals connected to the games industry continue to come forward with offers of support for the ongoing rescue and relief operations in Japan. We'll be collecting the latest opportunities to lend a hand in end-of-day roundups like this one as they're announced.

Head past the break for details on the today's happenings. If you'd prefer to donate to the efforts directly, you can always do so through the American Red Cross (www.redcross.org).

•From now through noon PST on Sunday, March 27, League of Legends studio Riot Games will be donating 100 percent of the profits from purchases of Nurse Akali or Riot Points spent on the summoner Akali to the Red Cross relief effort. Riot Games is placing Akali and her nurse skin on sale for 50 percent off during the period as well.
•Play for Japan is auctioning off a rare signed copy of Final Fantasy Tactics for PS One featuring cover autographs by character designer Akihiko Yoshida and art director Hideo Minaba. The high big as of this writing is just over $100, with the auction set to close on Sunday, March 27 at 4:34PM PST.

So you can quit with the whole "Its not good to be expecting PD to do something" when other companies are doing it.

Okay now somebody start talking bad about this!

If you wish to donate to Japan you can do it on PSN from $2.00 and up. This is for the people that said they can not donate unless they have a psn card.

Also, if you would to donate to Japan, please check out my signature!
