Japanese Historic help!

I'm totally stuck on this event, I've got a level 8 Bob and no matter what car I put him in he's totally useless at Tsukuba! He just gets the back end out on almost every corner and spins out every single time I try the race because of the Comfort Softs. I've managed to get 2nd but that's all, he refuses to overtake and when I hammer the button to tell him to, he spins out more easily.

Can anyone help? It seems ridiculous that the game should be this difficult this early 👎 If PD program low level drivers to be awful on Comforts, why the hell force me to use them on every beginner event?! I seriously wonder what PD are up to sometimes.

yeah you have to keep bob in the blue zone, when he's way in the red zone he'll spin out easily
you can either level up by repeating the first races or be patient with him

He immediately goes up to red at the start of the race, and if I keep telling him to slow down he just ends up in last and can't claw it back. The other races are a breeze, it's just this one I can't quite get gold in

EDIT: He just won it by a mile, all that was required? A wing on the car. :/ Thread closed!
