Ok, this championship is open to anyone. This will be run in normal arcade race (3 laps) and times will be submitted like
Lap 1 -
Lap 2 -
Lap 3 -
Total -
Use one of the following ARCADE cars:
Nissan Z Concept
Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec II
Subaru Impreza WRX
Mazda RX-7
Mazda RX-8
Toyota Supra RZ
Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VII
The first track is Midfield Raceway. Pm me your times by April 15th (Monday evening). Anyone is free to race! :burnout:

And this should be around a five race series, depending on interest.
The points system will look like this:
1st - 20 pts
2nd- 15 pts
3rd - 12 pts
4th - 9 pts
5th - 6 pts
6th - 4 pts
7th - 2 pts
8th - 1 point

New Rule!!!!
After you use a car for one round, you cannot use that car for any other round. You must pick a new car for each round. This will let everyone drive all of the different cars, which should make it more competitive and fun!

No, the NSX seems to be too quick for this group of cars. Also, it's not really in the same section as these cars. These are really just the moderately-priced Japanese sports car market, and the NSX is much more upmarket and quicker.

How many races in this series? Does 7 cars means 7 races, or are there 5 races so you can ditch 2 cars you're not too happy with?

:)

Driver aids off I hope!

Just one more question (as if you didn't have enough ;) ). Will we know all the tracks beforehand, or will it be a surprise? :D

BTW I've started testing... ;) :P

Surprises, surprises! For the tracks at least! About assists, put them on if you want. I go much faster without them anyway.
Oh, and for number of rounds, I'll do up to ten as long as there is some decent interest in this race series. Hopefully it will be somewhat successful. Try to get more people involved! :)

I will definitely do this! Sounds great! There may be some strategy here with car selection... good thing for not giving us the courses!
Um, if we go to ten races, will you add more cars... that could be tricky.

Just did some prelim testing of the cars.
I'd say the NSX matches well performance-wise with the Supra in Arcade but I agree it isn't in the same price bracket.

Just a thought ;) If we need more cars, that is!

Yes, please don't announce approximate times. Only 2 hours left to submit a time! The deadline is 0100 hours GMT. Get them in!

Um, I don't see where it says 0100 GMT. I was planning on submitting my time by this "Monday evening". Since you are in SC, I would assume by 12 pm EST would suffice?

No probs. Wouldn't have been able to catch mr pushrod's Supra anyways.
Maybe Mr. P or GVX has time to enter the series? Being as good as they are, maybe they wouldn't mind starting in last.

Lotus350?
JBSchumacher?
