Jarrods Holden

That my friend is a gorgeous Holden. I have a soft spot for those gorgeous non american cars made in Australia... *sigh* if only i could ever own a Ute here in the states.....

Thanks everyone!

Last night I bolted in the driveshaft, merge pipe, high flow catalytic converter, the rest of the exhaust, put in the radiator and fan shroud, fixed the oil pressure and spark issues. Tonight I have to drain and refill the tank, as it's nearly empty and what fuel there is is stale, and run in the cam.

After that, it's a matter of putting the front bar and bonnet back on, bleeding the brakes, and putting the interior back together. Hoping I will have all that done by tomorrow night, so it can be inspected for rego and mod plated.

Going to be a push to have it on the road by next Friday, with government departments the way they are, but I'm going to bloody try!

Just after I got it back from a roadworthy inspection, I had to chuck the 16 inch wheels on to pass.

Runs like a dream, goes really, really well. Put it back on the 19's...

..and the front struts let go. So new struts, springs and bearings. No rubber bushes left in the front end at all. The steeering is very direct, and the ride is...interesting haha.

I'll try and get some videos up soon.

The 'Commodore' badges were a 🤬 to mask up.

That engine bay is sexy. Very nice car

Cheers!

When is the dyno coming?

Soon, I hope. As soon as another day pops up, I'll pop it in.

And finally, some videos.

Idle;

Apologies for the crappy quality of the videos, especially the idle. The shed is a bit echoey.
