How do I get java to work in firebird? I just tried the netscape/mozilla one from Sun cuz it was the only one on the netscape/mozilla plugins page (I'm talking about the little window that pops up telling you that you need a certain plugin and then it takes you to Netscapes(I belive it was netscapes page) page to download it). Any of that make any sense?

Oh, so you're installing the JRE (Java Runtime Environment)? You should be able to configure it to be Netscape/Mozilla's defualt java thingo.

Start up the java thingo from the Control Panel and there should be an option to make it the defualt for Netscape browsers. Never worked for me, but you might have some luck.

I just use IE if a page uses Java.
