Tested on the following track - Sardegna 800PP 15 laps

Gran Turismo™ 7_20220919185608.jpg

@Jeje6410, excellent job on taming that excessive and weird self rotation this car has. Not totally removed, but less noticed on fast and slow corners. Great work on the gearbox, the ratios are perfect for the power it achieves.
No understeer noticed and very minimal oversteer, only if driven like an idiot...:D

Excellent work on this car, every time I tried to drive it it reminded me this:

Thanks a lot my friend. It's a real pleasure for me to read your feedback. Yes you are right, you still have to drive it with tweezers but it is a remarkable car, powerful and stable. Much more than its little sister the Gr.4.
Thanks again my friend @cbarbosa

Volkswagen Beetle Gr.3 (730PP) All Tracks
G'day all! :D

@Jeje6410, just finished testing the VW "Bug" right now and here's how it felt:

  1. Tested at Sardegna 800PP 15 laps
  2. Parts Removed: TURBO
Gran Turismo™ 7_20220922143823.jpg

Did 2 tests on "Custom Racing" option and got to the following conclusion for my driving style: No turbo for me!! :)

It affects indeed the PP range of the car and overall power, but for me as a Dualsense, no assists ABS only driver, the car felt much more balanced and easier to drive... The turbo inputs an enourmous lag on the low gears, making a bit snappy on acceleration...

Apart from this personal preference change, the tune feels amazing, still punches a lot of power even on fuel FM5/6 and keeps up very good against that annoying Portilla fellow!! (just kidding...) Tyre wear is very good indeed, lasted for full 7 laps and were still grippy...

Apart from some throttle care on 1st/2nd gear to avoid oversteer, the car is easy to drive... Now I see why it is used a lot in online racing...

TY @Jeje6410! 👍

Chat soon!

PS: Just saw the Merc Gr.4 tune, gonna try that one maybe tomorrow... ;)

I used your 800pp tune at Sardegna. I wanted to try a 1-stop strategy. I changed to RH and bumped the ECU to 100%.

Car was excellent, but a bit hard on tires and a bit thirsty. Won by 40 seconds.

Thanks for the tune.

Hi Jeje, I've been watching your submarine topic for some time and I thank you for sharing your work.
I saw that you worked on quite a few FF cars so, I was wondering if you intended to take care of the Renault Mégane RS as well as the Honda Civic type R FK2 and/or FK8? In advance I thank you

Hi @jc59200 thank you for those kind words. Regarding the FF, for the moment I put aside the possibility of making others. But when I have time, I will try to make others, especially the Mégane RS.
Thanks again

Hello all! :)

@Jeje6410, a small review on the Jag...

  1. Tested on Sardegna 800PP 15 laps
  2. Changes from the original tune: LOW END SUPERCHARGER
Gran Turismo™ 7_20220925151429.jpg

The Jag is a handful to drive, but super fun, I believe driving it will make anyone a better driver (not faster, better...)
It needs to be driven seriously, in a driver perspective, i.e., respect the car and it will reward you, be an idiot driving it and it will send you into a wall...

Throttle control is key on this one, make slow corners the correct way and it will launch like an airplane! Super fun to drive indeed...

TY and chat soon. 👍
