I will be there with a friend, maybe two.
I think many GTP members who aren't that far from Fontana will be there.
I'm waiting for Nov 14th to get my tickets, I'll make them deliver at a friend's, because I'm afraid I won't get them in time here (I live in Paris).

Anyone else? A friend of mine lives in Monteray (Laguna Seca Ville) and I'm flying in to LAX where he'll pick me up and we'll run to Fontana. I'll have my GTP shirt on, I suggest you guys wear your garb as well in case we decide to meet up.

See you there!

I got my tickets for Saturday, but I don't know whether or not I will make it on time. I got some family situation going on here, so bleh ...

I'll tell you guys what I will be wearing soon. I haven't decided yet =P

i got my ticket in the mail yesterday.. (both days)--convoy up to LA @ like 7-7:30am... drive back down later saturday & back up sunday dunno if there's gonna be a convoy on sunday though.

1. I'm 13 and basically no one I know is interested.
2. I have no money, even if I did I'd need someone to accompany me.

Well, I still have not decided on what I am going to wear. If you want to find me, I will be the short asian dude walking around, coughing a lot with a camcorder in his hand and a blue lanyard around his neck, walking around with his parents (-_-)

These two wild and crazy guys will be there (arriving late) on Saturday and all day Sunday. We'll be cheering on the RX-7, so that might be a place to look for us. Along with all the other cool stuffy. I'll also be wearing my GTPlanet.net shirt - hopefully visible but that depends on the weather. By the way, that is the collector's edition GTPlanet.net shirt. You can't get them like that anymore (:

And yes, those pictures are from Leguna Seca. Oh yes. It was quite cool.

I'll look for you Loud. If a 6'5"+ muscular dude with a crazy look and a loud, deep, scary voice calls out your name, it's only me, so don't be scared! I'll be with my two boys, ages 8 (think ten) and 3 (think 4-5). They're big for their age, like their Pa, so don't think too small of kids. They have bright, blond hair, and I have short brown hair and a full beard. I might be wearing my new glasses, and I'll try to wear my cream colored dress shirt with olive green dress slacks. If not, I'm usually in a black shirt with shorts. It's been very warm here lately, so dress for it. But, it gets windy and cooler at night. Plus, some say the weather will get a lot cooler on Sunday. The Santa Ana's have been blowing, so it's been VERY windy here today. It might not last, so just a word of caution.

Oh, Super GT has just been announced. http://www.jgtc.net/race/news/200412/041210_2en.htm

It was VERY windy tonight, I'm expecting similar this weekend. Look for me on Sunday wherever C-Tune is, by the way, I'll probably be hanging out with them. Just don't call me Takumi, I really hate this SN now!

You could drop $40 and get a Premium account and change your member name (:

I'll see all of you guys there - but you have the best change of finding me since you know what my friend and I look like, and I'll be wearing a GTP.net shirt (: We'll both probably have our digital cameras with us taking pictures like mad fools the entire time. So get a mental image of the above picture with cameras in front of our faces.

i'm about to put my clothes in the wash.. if a wierd girl w/ a vip bracelet & a camera on either a blue DUB necklace thing, or a Xbox necklace thing.... that'd be me :embarrassed:

it was fun

infield area > grand stands
saw the arta nsx ate the wall up close
(i was standing by the fence west of king taco when it happened)
lots of good braking duals and dog fights
formula drift was like junior varsity
car show was ok, either that or im getting too old for the scene
scantily clad women were fair (not exactly family atmosphere)
race queens i expected but girls dressed like prostitutes doesnt say class or maturity id expect from jgtc promoters. this isnt HIN. wow, i feel old... and i just turned 22

They could have been there for the Drift crowd. JGTC certainly doesn't seem to attract that kind of stuff.

... and was it me.. or were they REALLY poorly organised? cause i went there w/ a handicapped friend of mine... they had almost NO facilities or acces for him.. he did autocross a few laps (I think like 8)-- the guys i was hangin with took more pics of girls than cars... lol .. they're there for the import crowd, not neccessarily the drifting (you've seen the magazine covers that i hate-- i'd like to see the car not the chick thanks) the big drift event is supposed to be today- i'm goin up in a few hours, i'll probably try & get back to sleep-- i keep waking up every few hours dreaming that its 6am .... lol... i'm headed back up in... 3 hours... later..

You got that right.

Man, it was ridiculous. I've never seen so many rude, obnoxious pricks in all my lilfe. I swear, it felt more like a retard convention then a race event. The drifting was the most stupid thing I've ever seen, and the idiots cheered for it. I was asking myself, "What the hell are you cheering for, you morons!" I moved three times to get away from idiots I knew I couldn't at all tolerate.

The race was disappointing. The Garaiya didn't make it past the 7th or 8th lap! But, that car sounded and looked awesome while it was out. My next GT 300 favorite, the Weds Sport Celica game in 5th place in GT300 class. The GT 500 winner was one of the Fairlady Z's. Sorry, the name escapes me. The GT 300 winner was one of the NSXs. MTECH, I think.

So, the race was, eh, meh. Meh, at best. The drifting crowd and the actually drifting was just horrible, as you can figure that out. There will be drifting all day tomorrow, plus some JGTC sprint races, but most of the day will be D1 drift crap. I don't think I'm going, even though I have a weekend pass. I went Friday, and Saturday, so I got my monies worth.

i still liked the viper..... lol .... hopefully todays will be a lil better than yesterdays.. i wanna see the pro's go.. not the amateurs.

The G'Zox SSR 350Z was the overall winner, and the M-Tec Honda NSX the GT300 winner.
