i think i made a bad choice when i decided to use the S2000. Here's my best with the Celica:

not sure if i can do it, but am i allowed to change cars now? If so i'd like to use the Celica for this championship.

I think you guys are a little too late.

The Qualifying sessions closed last night at 11:59 EST time.

I would assume that you cant change cars, or submit times AFTER the qualifying session has closed.

However this still pre-season exhibition, so Im sure you have until the real season begins to change up your car.

Have we started the race times now?

I believe the races started last night at 11:59, and Run until Sunday 11:59. Eastern Standard Time.

Although I may be wrong. They could start tonight at 11:59 if I got my days mixed up.

Nope they did close last night

Just a reminder that qualifying is over at 11:59 PM EST time tonight.

This was posted yesterday...

just a quick question about the qualifying...are we getting points for our qualifying times?

Justin may, or may not, do a little points tally for the exhibition season. I know these two races are just as much a time for us to figure out our cars/teams as it is for him to fine tune the intricacies of organizing this league. So maybe he'll want to do everything that will be done in the regular season just to make sure that the system is running in the best and most efficient way. We'll just have to see.

I think it would be a nice touch as it would mimic the regular season and keep interest high amongst the other racers... but it isn't my call as I'm not the one who'd have to put in the extra work to make it happen. Maybe if Justin doesn't want to do it until the regular season (week 1), one of us could just do a little points total in one of our posts.

:)

Id like to see points, they make the pre-season more interesting. Of course they wont count for the regular season, but its nice to see how we stack up during pre-season.

👍

Nice time, Kaori!

Unfortunately, qualifying ending last night at 11:59 PM EST (Eastern Standard Time)... today is the first of three race days.

:indiff:

But don't worry, it's only exhibition season!

:)

I did my first race run today and got a 23'40.916. There is definitely room for improvement there considering I messed up a couple of times, but on average I was running mid to high 1:10's

You can switch cars during the pre-season, but your time with the S2000 will be your qualifying time for this week.

I will have a points board up when I make the Week 2 thread.:sly:

Also, sorry to those who submitted times late. At least this is only an exhibition race.

I've changed of team, because I've a teammate who will introduce himself :

Name : kaori
Class : GT300
# of choice(list top 3) : 9, 97, 91
Car : Toyota WedSport Celica '03
Team : Australia France Alliance (AFA)

Maybe I'll change car next week to Subaru Cusco Advan Impreza

Hi there Kaori;

Name : KIGO
Class : GT300
# of choice(list top 3) : 77
Car : Subaru Cusco Advan Impreza
Team : Australia France Alliance (AFA)

The Subaru is a bit of an understeerer Kaori, due to its FR configuration over its usual AWD drivetrain.
