Jimmy's Training Schedule

Well I spend alot of time in forums in which steroid use is rife. And many of the members are pro's, ex-pros and the trainers of pro's.

And many of them have indirectly said steroid use is part of most sports such as athletics, and any power sports. Even tennis players these days use it. Steroids boost confidence make you stronger and the ability to work harder for longer whislt also being a painkiller at the same time.

There have been so many behind the scenes scandals about players getting caught doing drugs but the organisation of that sport covering it up. Its just sometimes it gets leaked to the press and they have to discipline that person. Before a steroid user would get like a lifetime ban but because these days so many players do it its impossible.

Thsoe seem very shakey sources to be using in order to back up such extreme claims, IMO.

Well, I just trained with a massively sore throat (I have some sort of throat-cold or throat-infection), and I can definitely say the fitness that I've been doing lately has paid off dividends. We had a match for about 90 minutes of our training session on our pitch and I ran hard the entire time, despite taking two incredibly hard knocks and having this throat-cold.

I'm finding that as the defenders start to tire, I create even more problems as I keep pressure during the entire match and run hard. I even found myself making some goal-saving tackles, even though I am a striker!

Our laps and sprint training was increasingly easy, as well.

I must thank all of you, as well, for providing me with some helpful information and also somewhat keeping me motivated. I'm playing well the whole game, and I'm finding that I'm improving mostly due to the fitness regime I'm on.

So thank you all for your help, it looks like the start of a very good season for me (and also my club, it seems).

*Sigh* I need to get fit. Stop it Matt, you're making me feel lazy.

I just don't have any motivation anymore.

Still, we lost 21-0

alright, I made up that last quote.

I couldn't help it. :)

Yeah not bad. I actually have a job now, so it's toned down a little, and we're really training hard at training, so I've been taking it a lot easier. I must say, I've never been so fit. Another guy and myself are the fittest on our team, so at training we stick together and really push each other, which is helping further.

At the moment, I'm training on Tuesday with the team, then having an easy day on Wednesday (besides I work every Wednesday), training on Thursday (going to the gym from now on, which is a lot better), and taking it easy until the game on Sunday, but doing little bits here and there on Saturdays to keep up with ball skills and everything.

Things have improved a lot recently. At training this past Tuesday, I played better than I've ever played. I've actually slotted into a Centre Back role. I played there for training, and I couldn't have played any better. I took control of the defence, I was talking a lot more, my touch, passing (especially long passing) and vision improved immensely, and I've never been more confident in a role. Besides, it really suits the use of my speed to chase down attackers, and my heading.

So I've been incredibly happy with everything regarding football lately. We won our last trial match away from home 3-0 a couple of weeks ago, and last week we won our first season game away from home 2-1, though it should have been 6-0. We have a home game this Sunday, and our team is looking good. We're growing rapidly, and we're a lot more confident, and quite a lot fitter than other teams so far.
