Taken from the famous gamers daily english newpaper "THE delayed TIMES":

A famous international race team, with players from all origins (Alaska to Iran, among others), named "Thunder & Lightning" has issued and made public this morning a press release stating that they have decided to sue Polyphony Digital based on "fraud of legitimate expectations leading to serious moral damages by all members of the team".

The law firm's representative, a portuguese attorney known as "the Hun" (go figure) refused to comment on anything else other than "I'm now heading for Tokyo to have a meeting with mr. Yamauchi, I think he will be reasonable and understand the stress and moral disruption - bordering mental illness and at least two confirmed and diagnosed cases of SAD - his company and himself have caused to all of them"

When asked what amount were the Thunder & Lightning Team demanding to settle the case amicably, Mr. Hun said "I won't go into that detail, but besides the amount needed to reach such a desirable conclusion, a settlement outside the courthouse has at least to include the admission of all T&L members to the GT5 Beta Program with immediate effect. Honestly, I think that's the only way to make any of them capable of smiling, caring for their children, loving their wives, girlfriends, wax their hair, all those litle things that make everyone's life less miserable"

Cheers guys, this morning I was reading all threads here and I was as sad as you all are with the news, but then I decided to make a joke out of it. It started out as a private joke inside T&L ("let's sue PD over this !!!" ) but then the other guys insisted that I should share this joke in public and so I did.

I guess this was a bit outside the strict rules regarding thread opening in this so sensitive forum, but I'm glad you liked and no mod felt - so far - the need of reminding me that.
