With draft at Spa you can actually keep up with a faster car , I traded places with him a few laps but he got in the pits before me and that was it for me .

Yeah i saw you 2 both pit at same time i think? thats what messed it up for you, as you could have drafted him all the way to the back of me and maybe all the way to Seth

It seems to be the earlier you pit the more advantage you get

I had a slight advantage in that I started on softs but the problem was my start. I could have stayed up front but got confused as where the start line was. That caused me to get tangled up with calum. I was trying to drive away and get a lead but instead had to drive to the front during the first couple laps. That cost me some time and tire for my 1 stopper. I never dropped lower than 2:22 on my tires in the semi-dry to complete dry. Consistency payed off imo. Monza will be a draft battle and if you lose it the front pack will pull away.

It was a well deserved victory. Your first in JSTC is it not?

Monza may be Much like last season. Once you lose the draft you in no mans land. But now we have the soft tyres available people could pit and use those first few laps to close the gap to the car in front.

Anything is possible. My pitstop at Spa put me like 30s off the lead and I clawed it back while Seth was fighting Calum lol.

The softs were a really good addition IMO I've made a different strategy work twice now, coming back from last to 4th at Fuji and the Spa race. Much more exciting than everyone pitting at half way point to put on another set of Mediums

I'm sorry to have had to be this way guys, but this one of my favorte games. I want to be beat by people that are legit racers. All of you are as far as I'm concerned. To be beat by someone who can only win by cheating isn't fun.

Alot of us don't run full downforce. Does that mean that we all run full aero all the time or do we do PP check with full aero, then check the cars that have ballast with full aero. Then let the guys set their aero back to what they race it at?

👎 Sorry, but Franko doesn't even race here, so what you're saying is pointless. You may want to tone down your bias as well, there a lots of guys who run with modified cars here on GTPlanet. There's even a series with modified cars about to be up and running. What Franko has to do with any of this is beyond me. He doesn't run in this series, and if you don't like modified cars why did you ask him for one?

In addition, what benefits having more downforce from these cars? They're already slow on the straight, more aero pushes your top speed down even lower and you'll be a sitting duck. The gain from having more downforce in the corners is minimal. This isn't formula 1 with 750hp cars where taking corners at max speed is necessary.

Those PP figures are for max downforce. We tried them out last night and everyone complied.
While yes someone could run low downforce they can't manipulate the BHP and weight as we still do those checks. We are checking BHP weight and seeing if the downforce limit has been exceeded.
We can't physically do anymore checking of the regs lol

A note to make - anybody believed to be hacking will have a very tight check to pass. I will not state this check as otherwise people may find a way to boycott it, but it will consist of multiple BHP weight and Aero checks

To my knowledge, if you 'hack' your car to have more downforce, you can't change the level of downforce on it without resetting it to it's normal levels. Therefor you gain nothing in the PP checks because you'll be back at the levels the car originally has because you'll have to reduce the downforce #. By doing that you switch the car back to what it normally was unless your car is a total hybrid- which is stupid to run here because the values are totally wrong.

Hacking and manipulating things to an advantage isn't right. Just because you don't feel that they made the aero right and a few other things not right in the game, doesn't give you the right to hack into it to change it how you see fit.

And if you're the respectable individual you say you are then you would heed the words I'm saying. What people do with their game is none of your business. If you don't like it don't partake in it.
