What's milage have to do with weather you skid or not? My dad skids in the Probe and it's got over 200K...

And Chris, I've done that too, in the 3. First time driving my dad was being nit picky, telling me to go faster or go slower or turn smoother and all this, so then he says "stop!" and I did. did a 15-0 by slaming the brakes. He wasn't too happy but ohh well...

My bro has done worse, in the 3...when his MX-6 was down, he drove the 3, so I was with him several times in it, and once we are on a fairly big road here, he sees a 626 5-door(he always looks for them) and said "Hey that one's nice" and turned to look at it, and the light turned red, and we are going 40 or more, and the guy in front is stopped and I said "Eric!!!" and he turns around, slams and locks the brakes, and we almost hit the guy...lots of smoke too...

Its not really a truck, its a ute, we call it a truck, its a '85 Mazda B2000 (dammit another mazda... ;)). The clutch is going all squeaky, like the rally cars do (I like to think of it that way), we think it might be the thrust bearing.

...and no i wont do any "skidds" in it (it has 145000mi on it) but i do burnout in my moms '71 super bettle and if i realy wanted to drive like a maniac my dad said he'd put me in a midget next year.
I've always wanted to go for a spin in a midget, maybe even a TQ, now that drifting.

We've tested out the A.B.S on our Fairmont once, I think my dad was staring at some girl on the side of the road (as you do....). The traffic had stopped, my mum shouted 'look out!!' my sister screamed and my dad slammed on the brakes, we skidded a tiny tiny bit before the Thumper-thumper-thumper came it. Talk about adrenalin......

LOL...Yet another Mazda owner on here. At the junkyard(where my bro works now) he drives a beat up 86 B-2200...I rode my bike up there bout a month ago, and he gave me a ride in what's left of it, and we were doing 40 in one of the lanes on mud with ditches and stuff...bouncing off the ground and slamming into the parked junkers that were just shells...also drifted it sideways into another car and wiped out. Somehow it still drives...

The clutch squeek could either be the clutch pedal, clutch linkage, or the clutch itself...get in the truck and just push the clutch down, if it squeeks and you can feel the squeek then it's probably the pedal or linkage...

And your dad's a perv! :P :)

mileage has a lot to do with wether you can do burnouts (or rev the piss out of it), such as spinning a baering or tapping a valve. if i blow up the engine in it i am screwed cause i wont be able to use the garage to rebuild it since the racecar (to work on it) goes in there throughout most of the year.

yesterday my dad's 94' sonoma got a cracked head and was spewing out smoke everywhere! now he has to drive either the honda or the benz until he gets it fixed.

erm it was spewing out oil, which hit the headers and turned to smoke...

heh...

Really if your cars are well maintained, you can drive them just as hard as the day they were made.

it was not spewing out oil for the smoke was only coming out of the exhaust which was at the back of the vehicle. also the coolant level was low and both the spark plug and exhaust smoke had a "sweet" smell to them. and no fluids were on the ground.
