This seems to be the case.. I too went in search of that tiny lil micro machine, the G4. No such luck..
It was a pretty amazing lil car too.
I remember doin about 215mph in GT5 with it. If it were in GT6 it'd prolly be able to do 300mph!

I think they were a couple of the few cars that got the axe. I'd love to see the G4 return. that thing was awesome. Well balanced and would neutral steer and drift in stock form like no ones business!

The Ford GT '05 No Stripe is gone too. Just the '05 (with stripes) and '06 now.

Now you can add/remove stripes at will in the Ford GT 👍 Pretty cool. And the same for the GT350R, IIRC.
I'll miss that Ginetta G4, was a fun little ride.

No, sadly you're not wrong.
At least I couldn't find it. I was very very disappointed when I noticed that days ago.
It was one of my favourite cars in gt5.
We had a lot of fantastic onilne races with that car in VCRC.

It went quite a few rounds in SNAIL too. Hopefully they bring the little guy back. This is a movement I may be willing to endorse. Our, mauve we are getting lucky and it is being revamped with the full bells and whistles... One can hope, right?

That's too bad, I hadn't noticed yet. I quite liked that car in GT4(it earned most of the money for my all-black race cars), though I could never seem to make it drive at all well in GT5. It just kept spinning on me and I never really made the prolonged effort to work the kinks out I had intended to. Here's hoping they are planning on bringing it back along with at least one of it's modern siblings that help make BTCC racedays so enjoyable.

Just another thing about GT6. I had a fleet of G4s in various tunes. Absolutely one of my all time favorite cars. Maybe if we make enough noise like the login bonus PD will bring it back in an update. I'd even be willing to buy it in DLC. I know many people are down on having to pay for more content. I agree. I saw that you could buy credits and went WTF??
Now we have higher payouts and the login bonus. So if this thread really grows who knows we might get it back. We certainly still have plenty of Miatas and Skylines. IMHO the new car content is not that great. So please PD bring back the Ginetta G4.

I'm happy about quite a few of the new car content. But I do think if a car had to be cut, there were certainly more cut-worthy ones than the Ginetta & Jensen.

If I had to choose between the Ginetta and the Spitfire the Spitfire would be gone not the Ginetta. They also have the original Mini, why couldn't they put in a MGB or a MGB GT or Better yet the GT with the 6 cylinder? I love British Cars. When I first started racing in the SCCA it was MGBs because I had a '73 I bought when I was in the service.

Ive noticed that some duplicate cars have been combined into single cars with different available paint schemes. For instance the Viper race car had two different versions in GT5, designated by different racing numbers. But now it is one single car, and each of the two numbers are selectable as paint jobs when buying it.

Very hard to keep facing forwards, but really an exciting and individual car. Loved it in GT5 in with some sensible power upgrades.
I would say the Mini Marcos is a similar car (in philosophy) but not as mad. The Marcos is actually a superbly handling car and I would urge any fan of lightweights to give a run.👍

I actually do like the Mini Marcos a lot. Nice handling for a FWD, and it's pretty cute to boot.
Actually I'm sad they would take out any vintage cars, because I like all the vintage cars. And I shouldn't like to have to choose between any of them.
But I'm most particularly sad about the g4.
Hopefully it will return.
