Just some generic questions about the SX

How reliable is the hardware? Read a few posts on FB groups, people complaining about issues.

How has your experience been with the SX? Would love to know your thoughts - thinking about picking one up!

Fast, powerful & quiet. Not had any issues with mine (got it just before xmas)

There is a slight bug when you go to show all gamepass games atm (not the recently added bit), the screen goes black but you just go back to home & re-enter then it works (MS are aware of this, should be sorted in the next update) this is happening across all my Xbox's the SX, SS & the 1X so it's not hardware related, started happening a month ago with the last update.

Yeah, had that happen a handful of times with my One X but nothing with my SS yet. So far haven't heard anything about issues with the SX from the many people I know that own one.

It doesn't happen all the time, very random though & only once not constantly then it's fine for a little while but when it happens it happens across all 3 machines on the same day (at different times depending on when you decide to browse the the game selection) can't be an Internet thing either because I got the SX & SS hardwired (500mb) & the 1X on 5ghz wireless pretty much next to the router & all 3 machines have had their ports changed so they don't conflict with each other.

Online gaming fine, download games fine, everything else fine, all very strange.

I'll tell you what though, the amount of updates the damn things get is unreal, it's nice that they're addressing little issues but it feels like every other day something needs a bloody update, I've turned auto updates off for now & do a bulk update once a week.

Had mine since June of last year and it’s been quiet, fast and reliable with no issues whatsoever, looking good too!

Been on a return flight home as hand luggage, accidentally got knocked over from the table, but all is fine.

Got my first one late May last year, got about 10 hours before the video output went (which was double the time I got from my first Xbox One X, I seem to have acquired some sort of console hex), the replacement they sent has been just fine since then.

I've had my SX for a year now. No problems whatsoever. Super quiet, powerful, very quick around the menus and loading apps etc. Quick resume is an amazing feature. It's all good, I love it.

Nothing unusual. All of my electronics are on fairly high end and high powered UPS's just to be sure, too.
