I have always run all assists off in any sim I play, maybe just an abs setting of 1. Im noticing when running online its really hard to run w the top guys with all aids off. Im sure everyone is using em so Ive jumped on board. True what someone said above about racecars having these aids so it is realistic to be running them.

I absolutely love the quick menu that is built into the HUD now, I wish there were a TCS menu in there to quickly turn it off or on because sometimes I like to challenge myself with TCS off but other times I don't mind having it on esp in cars where it's normal to have it.
There is. TCS settings go from 0 to 5. You can also adjust brake bias and fuel mixture on all cars, and torque distribution on AWD cars. Each one has it's own color distinct from the others. The other HUD elements are radar, track map, and sector times.
On my G29 wheel, the +/- scrolls through different HUD elements and the red dial changes the setting (but it isn't very responsive while driving which is rather annoying).

TCS of 0 is horrid with a DS4 in certain cars and tracks. For me I normally adjust my TCS depending on what im driving and where. Most of the time it is on 1 or 2.

Woot! I had no idea you could do this. I run with a Thrustmaster 300 RS wheel so maybe there aren't enough buttons to get access to those features?

Me too and I have those options assigned to the D-pad on the wheel. ;)

On the topic of TCS, I'm often on the top10 (Europe) and I drive with TCS.

I never used it in previous GTs and I used to play with a controller (see signature) but in GTS I can't get any info through the wheel when the car is losing grip or about to spin. It's really odd. On top of that, the fact that the throttle is not linear, doesn't help for an intuitive progression.

Another reason why I drive with TSC is because it's safer for everyone on track. No TCS means unpredictability and higher risks of messing up not only my race but the race of those I'm playing with.

I'm DR A / SR S.

I'll get used to drive without TCS on high performance cars once if I see l I'm getting too slow.
