anyone know why that when i was taking the ia-10 liscense test with the [R] toyota gt1 '98 it says exxon superflo. but when i won the very same car in the gt world championship it said esso ultron. i know its no big deal deal but i was just wondering about that.

Because they are two different cars - a 1998 model and a 1999 model.

yea but i won the 98 the same car i was using in the test.
98=red with white all over
99=red with white just on the front
i won the 98.

But this is the first time I heard you can get both. Since from what I know you can only have one at each version (PAL or NTSC).

NTSC = Television standard used by North America and Japan.
PAL = Television standard used by Europe and the rest of the world.

If you're in Japan or North America you probably have an NTSC version. If not, you probably have a PAL version.

gt2 ntsc 1.2 is not a version of a gameshark, lol.its stands for the version of gran turismo the codes are for. gt2 (gran turismo 2) ntsc ( regional version of the game) 1.2 ( the version of gt2 )

you could most likey find a used ps1 gameshark at any game store like e3, gamestop, etc...

if you havent had any experience with a gameshark, codebreaker, or ar max i suggest you find the latest version possible so you will not have to type in the cheats yourself

sucahyo, if i went out to any game store and bought the newest version of ps1 gameshark codes, would it have the ones you listed above? and what does you guys mean buy having to type in the cheats? i didnt know you could do that with gameshark.

i havent had a ps1 gameshark but guessing from the ps2 one i have once you enter the cheat section for gran turismo 2 there will be a button saying new cheat, you press it and type in the name of the cheat (doesn't have to be the exact name as the cheat but it helps ) after you type that in it will bring you to another screen where you type the sequence of letters and numbers for the code ( if its long, get your ipod and drink because your going to be there for a while ) after you type it in proceed and you will be brought back to the cheats for gran turismo 2. find the cheat you just entered and see if you can highlight it so that its blinking. if it doesnt blink, you will have to go back through the numbers you just put in and find the error ( again, like i said if its long, its going to take a good amount of time )

if im wrong somebody tell me but thats how my gameshark for ps2 works.

I don't know. But I don't think it will, since I think gameshark coder not interested in code like this. I found the address that need to be changed by using PEC (epsxe plugin to allow cheating), which can be converted to appropriate gameshark code. This method work even in GT4 too.

If I remember corectly, there are atleast two type of gameshark, one without capability of entering new code and one with that capability.
