I've been playing the game for a couple of months now and I find it's far easier to drift than GT3. Most cars just drift in stock config and it's all about playing with the gas/brakes/handbrake. There is no actual force feedback (only self centering...no mechanical countersteer) so people with a Logitech wheel hoping for a GT3 experience might be a little disappointed.
Nevertheless, the whole idea and corner artist mode (drift to gain points & money!!!) makes the game worthwhile.
