Thanks for the insult. No I am not dense but I dont see why Kaz should sit around developing the game instead of advertising the game and living his life as well as developing the game.

Especially since I don't think he does any real work on the game. He is the team leader; he supervises everything and offers ideas and makes sure everything is up to specification.

you can, but good luck getting him to answer you. :)

Actually he RT'ed me, I wrote to him, in Japanese of course (helps to keep it simple and a direct translation isnt always best you have to play with the configuration of words to get it to sound right).

Kaz_Yamauchi

RT @XEPEGSM: @Kaz_yamauchi GT は私の生命を変えた! , Arigato!

Thats GT has changed my life! Thank you!

Be smart too, if you're gonna ask details that are unrevealed or other things like that i can guarantee he wont reply, and also keep in mind Tokyo is about 13hrs ahead of EST so tweeting him during Tokyo time is best.

Having kids changed my life, don't think I could equate GT to that.
Any how Im glad for you.

Someone who knows japanese could translate a couple of tweets that I'd like to send to Yamauchi?

One would be this:

"Are you still considering the use of a blackframe for standard cars in GT PSP as you mentioned in the interview with Honda?"

And the other would be this:

"Something like this would be better than nothing: http://i30.tinypic.com/2dcisck.jpg "

If anyone could translate or send it directly in japanese I would be very grateful :D .

Good mock-up there, this is how I would like to see Standard cockpits too. Definitely better than nothing.

Would be much better than nothing 👍

I'm curious regarding the source of that screenshot? The environment and the car's exterior are from Prologue, but the interior appears to be from GT PSP. :dunce:

Yeah was about to ask where did you get that screen shot ,and it is even more detailed than the GTPSP's

Go for a blacked out cardboard cutout guys.
Paint both sides black and you can even reverse it for optional right/lefthand drive.
Turn upside down for roll over effects.
Add balloon for airbag.

The onesize fits all option.

I'm stuck on wipers though, any ideas.

You know, the most impressive of it all, is that it actually doesn't look that bad. I'm really surprised. That could work.

I already posted that idea before, give street and "normal" race cars analog instruments (like in GT5s bumper cam) and cars like LMPs digital (like in GT5s chase cam, but placed in the middle of the screen). That would work pretty good imo.

No, no, no that's far too big, you should think smaller: glasses with removable painted interior lenses, you automatically have head-tracking as well.;)

Excellent, maybe even have a watering can perched overhead for when driving convertables in the rain.

Not even, he loves the compliments and positive feedback, just dont hound him with ?'s he heard a million times a minute for the past 5 years.

Remember Gamescon is about 45 days away, which in his own words is the big revelation, so stop by say hi share your views but dont paparazzi him. He hearts GTPlanet lets not make him unheart it.

The man speaks the truth. :P

Google translate from his lastest tweet:

"Ending two days recording virtuoso Lang Lang and concentrated. Bach's "Joy of Man's Desiring the Lord" also began recording, the last of Prokofiev Sonata "war" in the Wanteiku OK. 17 tracks. A good record in any recording. The music fit the game fun. NY is hot and tired. Get back to Japan!"

You may wonder why is the title of a composition in bold. This is the reason:
