No idea what that other car in the last image is.

Going through a phase of really wanting a Daihatsu Midget again. It's just such a joyful little machine. Hasn't yet succumbed to the American 25-year-rule tax either - got three more years before it does...

I have a question, I was looking at a Honda beat here in the states that was imported for about $5k.
I see all these cappos in race configurations but no beats. If i were to buy an imported kie car, I would want to autocross it. Would a beat be a good candidate for me?

Difficult to say. The Cappuccino seems easier to modify - that Suzuki engine has been around for years now which helps, whereas the Beat's engine was relatively unique, and being naturally aspirated there's less wiggle room for improvement in the first place. It'd probably be a fun autocross car, but if the goal was to go quickly you'd probably have more luck with a Miata or the Suzuki. Or, if mid-engined was a preference, one of the three generations of MR2.

In my previous post, you might have noticed three of the vans had been converted into different types of vintage vans. The company that does that is called Cal Stage, and they do good business turning your boring new kei van into an exciting old kei van. These are the styles they currently offer.
