-> Such shame, the Koup has potential, and a pretty decent car in my opinion. But CUVs are the America's standard vehicle now. :(

I don't even know if their still sold here in Australia. However, I am seeing more Kia Picantos in traffic.

Too bad. Those seats look very comfortable. :D

No, but seriously, it did look cool* though. (In a Civic Coupe type-of-sense...)

*(Since it's a Kia, I meant to say, "kool".)

I'd think an argument could be made that, if the Koupe was to continue, it wouldn't have made much sense to do a second generation Veloster. Between each, I think I'd rather have the Hyundai continue on, for "practicality" and such. The death of personal coupe isn't the worst thing in the world, but it only gives Honda more of the market, and gives them fewer reasons to innovate going forward.

Not sure what the upgrade is. The new 2.0L has less power than the last one, mine made 173hp. Thought the 6-speed manual is new.

They de-tuned the 2 liter Turbo as well. Mine has 269 hp and the new ones have 245. I know they went through some issues with losing engine bottom ends when they were trying to use different materials for the connecting roads. To the extent that they sent me details on my engine warranty being extended to 120,000. I already have over 85,000 problem free miles, but they did have quite a few issues, unfortunately.
