Remember when Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, and Disney Channel had good shows on? That's my problem.

Cartoon Network - Tom & Jerry
Nickelodeon - Salute Your Shorts, Are You Afraid of the Dark.
Disney- Boy Meets World

Best shows back in the day.

Oh yeah, remember the good ol' days?

Cartoons today, in my estimation, are mostly being created so that the adults won't mind watching them with their kids or younger brothers. The demographics of the cartoon audience is much larger than when it was just US KIDS, now they have kids that grew up on cartoons that are adults themselves. Good, bad, or indifferent, it's all about money.

*sigh* Kids are going to be introduced to THIS atrocity?

What happened to the classic looney toons that our parents grew up on and that we grew up on?!?!?
It's official. The whole world's going crazy. :scared:

I mean, what happened with Bugs Bunny? He now looks like Satan's pet rabbit.

yep, those were the days. Cartoons were still about selling toys, the first one ever was he man, but at least they were cool.

Now they just don't care as long as it sells. :yuck:

I used to watch all the live action shows on Nickelodeon back in the early 90s. Like are you afraid of the dark, and the adventures of Pete and Pete the single best kids show ever. It was great.

I still watch Boy Meets World. One of the last older remaining shows around.

They're so evil and gothic! I love it!

I'm Sooooooooooo glad I'm old school having been part of the classic shows like Gi Joe, Transformers and Thundercats ( threw that last one in ). The shows today scare me a lot like Telitubbies and Southpark. :scared: I do like Spongbob, Simpsons, Family guy, American Dad and Daria a lot though.

Man! I used to love most of those shows in Pako's picture. Only one I didn't watch is the one on the bottom right. I believe it's Maters of the Universe? I can't believe Gatchaman/Battle of the Planets made it in. 👍 I used to love that show...... like when I was kindergarden!(we're talkin' late 70's).

I still don't remember the name of it but there was a cartoon where this guy literally turns into a car. Anyone remember that? It was a great show. :D:tup:
