The masses are uninformed on who Moore is. That is exactly why his propaganda is effective. This is my last thread on Moore because frankly Im tired of him. What annoys me more is the lack of knowledge on what Moore represnts artistically and politically. Individuals who plant their 8 bucks to see this tripe dont understand who he is. Lets start with his own words.
"There is no terrorist threat in this country. This is a lie."-October 2003
The Iraqis who have risen up against the occupation are not "insurgents" or "terrorists" or "The Enemy." They are the REVOLUTION, the Minutemen, and their numbers will grow -- and they will win. I oppose the U.N. or anyone else risking the lives of their citizens to extract us from our debacle. I'm sorry, but the majority of Americans supported this war once it began and, sadly, that majority must now sacrifice their children until enough blood has been let that maybe -- just maybe -- God and the Iraqi people will forgive us in the end.-April 14, 2004
"(Americans) are possibly the dumbest people on the planet ... in thrall to conniving, thieving, smug pr*cks. We Americans suffer from an enforced ignorance. We dont know about anything thats happening outside our country. Our stupidity is embarrassing.
When he gives his speeches calling Americans stupid or cheering for the Iraqi resistance to win this speaks to what he represents. In fact I think everyone should see this film to understand the deception, malaciousness and illogical arguments that Moore and the left have coddled for the past year. I think Americans can be objective if they knew what Moore has claimed and expressed about this country. Once people can understand his politics they can make their own conclusions when they see his film. Otherwise, Moore counts on people not doing the research on him.
Moore will twist info under the pretense of a documentary but doesnt let people in on the joke. He doesnt say he restructure the chronology or history so it presents a view which he believes. Documentary makers tell the story, they dont film the movie and misquote, attempt to set an agenda. A great documentary maker takes history as its happening. For example, a documentary on Dylan called "Dont Look Back", Dylan is a egotistical prick a real piss off case. Or "The Times of Harvey Milk" about a gay politician's rise to power who is assasinated by a fireman. It shows the truth as it is. Moore calls himself a satirist because he cannot back up what he says. He can't back up gun claims in BFC because as he puts it, he is a "satirist".
So folks, do yourself a favor in this trendy age of Bush bashing, do some research. I know this is Passion of the Bush Haters, but please get the base agenda from an artistic and political view of Moore. Otherwise your just the dumb Americans Moore expects you to be.
