All I gotta say is the chick in the video is cute! :embarrassed:

So cool, if only I lived in Japan and have couple of millions to spare ... or hundreds of millions, buy a whole platoon of these, fit them with real miniguns and missile launcher, my own army :)

I'll take an army of them, and perhaps the girl too. ;)

That "smile shot" is so typically Japanese though. The actual design looks awesome, plus it could make a great base for development.

Very cool, if only the arms moved quicker and it had a higher top speed. I am confused on how a diesel engine runs on gasoline though.

I can't wait to troll around the neighborhood at night scaring little kids as they wake up to see a giant robot staring in their window.

I wonder if I can get one made in China for half the price.

Maybe lol. I'd like to see some of those things that walk from Star Wars be built...wouldn't that be fun lol

A Japanese company built a mech that walks but it can only walk on a perfectly flat surface and only fires pink foam balls and not bullets. It would still be cool to go shopping in the thing, though!

The funniest part about this is that my dad sent me the link asking about it before I even heard about it.

1.3 Million Buckaroos for not an expensive car, not a decent home, not a yacht...

but a robot.

Anyways, what would you guys do with YOUR robot, should you have the money and insanity to buy one?

Wow. I have, like, nothing positive to say about it. I'm pretty sure I can battle this "bot" with a Toyota Camry and defeat it in just minute or two.

Don't try. The 'smile shot' will shoot tiny bullets that break through windshields, and possibly even your body! :scared::lol:

A bulldozer may work though :P

Personally I think machines like this are a moot point in this day and age when the push of a button can wipe out a whole nation, but would I want one? No.

I'd rather a prosthesis body suit, like Iron Man, like the US military are working on. Lift 300lbs. without ever getting tired. Sweet.

So far it's still attached to a generator as the battery tech is not there to support it but given a few years I think a death match between a Navy Seal in the suit and that mech would make for good TV.

You mean one of these things?

Alright stop,

HAMMER TIME!

LOL, I'd imagine you'll get pretty bruised up being fired BB gun bullets from two miniguns! :dopey: :scared:

Is it the Toyota Camry 2001 LE with a 2.2L engine that can out accel any car if you know how to? :sly:

As long as it's the stick shift, yes. Goes without saying, really. Dual-tip exhaust & K&N filter would help..... :dopey:

There is some in-the-know joke I'm not getting here.......

I really don't understand how they do it but almost every Japanese YouTube video I see is somehow the most Japanese thing I've ever seen up to that point in my life. Astonishing. This is quite, no, very cool but I wish they'd done something a little more Tachikoma-style, this just looks awkwardly proportioned (too long and too high, I think) when driving around town.

Maybe you can watch some Toyota Camry videos to offset things. They are as American as they get. minus the K&N filters.....
